I call on my ancestors for guidance all the time, there is nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't label myself as a practitioner of magic or what ever you want to call it, but maybe I'm just doing what my ancestors did pre slavery and see the benefits that come from that. Everyone is so caught up in religion and forget or don't know that we weren't always modern day Christians, Muslims, or any of the religions that were imposed on use via slavery. Food for thought

Aye just because rat poison is 97% good ingredients doesn't mean it still isn't deadly. Gods word is all true that's just the bottom line
@dgswaggin101
10 жыл бұрын
Well you could also claim the opposite. If 97% is bad ingredients does it make the 3% good? If this book that isn't even the original text is held in such high regard, a book that truly hasn't done anything but keep us as a people complacent, looking up to the sky instead of looking within our selves to find an answer to our problems then maybe... just maybe that book isn't the way, and maybe in some ways it is. When life is hard and you need a lil something higher to believe in then I say YES! call upon something higher than your self to get you through what you goin through.. if that's what you need, but don't bash someone else's beliefs or claim that you have all the answers when if you were honest with your self, you would acknowledge that, that is complete bs. No one has all the answers!
@lorenllbj88
10 жыл бұрын
GOD has all the answers. That's why we have his word ie THE BIBLE. What part don't you understand? And kept our ppl complacent?? Ppl have chosen to keep themselves complacent! God doesn't cosign ppl who are lazy and can't think for themselves or make wise decisions. Yes we should acknowledge The Lord and seek his counsel about things but that doesn't mean we act like babies and refuse to not do for ourselves. God encourages us to grow up spiritually and mentally enough to make wise des irons and take care of things and fight for what's right. He doesn't say be oppressed, he says to fight against the enemy and the evildoers of this world. Idk where ppl get off into thinking we as believers have our head in the sky. That's not the case. God has ensured us his word is eternal so we don't have to worry about anything despite mans attempt to tamper with the word(NIV,NAS,Living bible etc). KJV is true indeed but I digress. But like I said if someone doesn't want to handle their earthly duties that's their problem and choice!

Your right it was the greatest movie and greatest acting job i have ever witnessed. I have seen some great acting, but never before have i sat and watched a movie and just believed that was the actual person talking. Its obvious why he didn't win an Oscar and its the reason we do not have a Malcolm x day. You are correct. It's so sad that people love to defend these ppl whenever they see them admitting to calling on "spirits". I could say "He just channeled the spirit of a devil to help him do what he did" then a defender will say "U crazy ain't no such thing" then the accused will say "I channel a spirit for every big performance" then I'll say "See?" the Defender (who claimed I was a wacko for believing in spirits says: "Well who cares". Walking contradictions.

@mrYTonthemoon Denzel is a legend because he is the greatest black actor - he has made history with his Oscar worthy performances. He has done what no other black actor has done - that is why he is a legend. Spike Lee has done what no other black director has done. He hade history with the way he got his films made - She Gotta HAve it, Malcolm X. He, like Denzel, will be in history books for what they have done for the black community.
