Ага, Алан - бог звука. Играет с закрытыми глазами, или смотрит на Дэйва и реагирует, когда тот заиграется с фанами; или улыбается в камеру, снимая напряжение; периодически поет... почти всю песню, придавая голосу Дэйва легкости и динамики. Он шикарный.

I've listened to this song a thousand times. I know all DM songs by heart. I've seen DM live 12 times. But nothing gives me goosebumps like THIS version of Everything Counts. Somebody tell me why please

I relate. I got to know them through Black Celebration and Music For the Masses, but this version of Everything Counts with the audience reaction really did something for me, and it still does. I think I have seen them six times, but only once have they played Everything Counts - and it brought me back.

There was no miming in this performance. The characteristics of their live performative voices are self evident and you can hear the nuances and rawness of live work. This version sounds quite different to the studio version. You are literally saying stuff that has no basis in reality. Stop it. For the love of intelligence.

back in 1988, I could only buy the double cassette tapes of this concert. people who got to attend it were so lucky. I finally saw them live in concert in 1993 and it was AWESOME!
