hello, nice video.... what to do when we have a flask app with postgres db, working on ec2, then dockeried, and dockerized flaskapp is also working with postgres db on ec2, then docker image is sent to ecr, now i want to use sagemaker for scalability and i am a bit confused. my flaskapp uses a login/password method to access the dashboard page, a pic is uploaded on the dashboard page and analysis is done on that pic as per my 170mb model file. i am having trouble at sagemaker endpoints and trigger function, what i want is to use the scalability function of sagemaker and run that dockerized instance from ecr.... i am not using this sagemaker notepad as i have done all steps already, i want to create end points and make that dockerized image work employing the scalability feature of sagemaker.

At 10:20 it is going in a loop deploying the model because of "%timeit" It runs the chunk of code multiple times and returns mean runtime of your code

Should I write train.py file. Can you please guide a little on this, how to write inference code? Should it be a single function, what would be the entry point where the http request body is received and where to put return results etc.

Hi there - thanks for watching. Given this is a pre-trained model, the only input data would be at prediction time (Step 7). So you can import and preprocess data just before here.

@@dataliam Hey, yeap, in script mode if following your tutorial I will add some script into train.py file to preprocess the data before making predictions, will Sagemaker use it when calling .predict() function? Like for instance if the model does sentiment analysis, the script will tokenize and vectorize the sentences, will I be able to pass to predict() the sentences instead of vectors? really appreciate!!
