"Der aufhaltsame Lauf der Dinge" von David le Viseur und Michael Pfitzner, 2016.
"The resistible way things go" is an hommage to Fischli & Weiss' seminal work - but with a twist: Things don't always work the way they should. Not in life, not in art. Failure is always part of the game. Why do you want things to run smoothly? Failure is painful - but more interesting. The failures you see, are not just some random, carelessly tolerated mishaps and incompetencies - they are intended, planned and reheased meticulously. But when the chain-reaction was set off, unexpected things happened. Planned failures fail to fail: Meta-Fail. New, unthinkable things happened in weird and funny ways. It's painful, it's absurd. But that's the resistible way things go.
