1:46 you guys don’t realize how beautiful that pass was. Just floated in Crab’s hands where only he could get it. Now imagine this with Davante

It’s hard to throw deep when teams are constantly playing 2 deep and you have no speed. 2020 isn’t the case however and I see Carr returning to MVP form and quieting all the doubters. Ruggs III, Edwards and Bowden are going to inject this offense with some swagger and explosiveness which is what we’ve lacked since 2016. RN4L

I’ve always said it. Carr is a really good quarterback that has big arm and can put the thread thru the needle down the field. He hasn’t had a decent wide receiver that IS ABLE to make a catch down the field while contesting it since Cooper or Crabtree until the 2020 draft. What he did have was good tight ends and Carr knew that so he stuck it out with those tight ends. He basically made those tight ends become wide receivers. Why else would Gruden keep him if Carr wasn’t a good QB. Plus, he can make a big accurate throw while on the run like a certain AFC west rival only difference is that Mahommes has had thee fastest offense in the league for a few years now. Great video really highlights one of the talents that most people have forgot about Derek Carr. One True Raider Nation.

Cooper and Crabtree were his best targets ever. I love the highlights with those two. Great receivers

Lowkey they werent even that good. Cooper couldnt get open or catch consistently and crabtree was kind of washed..he still had hands but had trouble getting open. A lot of his catches were jump balls or perfect throws by Carr where Crab had his man beat by just one step. Derek Carr had never had good receivers hes just a baller.
