Can someone clarify why he multiplied and divided by the molar volume? I actually understand this and I’m tired of Chegging my problems away.

I think he just wanted to factor out the V in the denominator, and did this with extra steps.

To combine like terms and show the true weight of the second term(1/V). So, just to simplify the overall equation and put it in its originally displayed form.
