Look, there is zero special about apple cider vinegar. Bragg pushes the misinformation that apple cider vinegar is a miracle cure because it is an extremely high margin item they sell. It is just marketing, they would go belly up without it or would have to cut their price in half or less to sell any. No different from any kind of vinegar except they don't bother to filter it which saves them money.

Crazy, i haven't used shampoo on my scalp in years. And it only touches my hair if I get something nasty in it. I rinse and condition it well 3 times a week with a rice water and herbal tonic I make 2 times a week. Always rinsed in cold water, no product used, and no heat styling. Shampoo made my hair and scalp dry and brittle. Made it itch and flake like I had bad dandruff. All those problems stopped after I quit putting shampoo on my hair.

Disagree. People, like myself, who have in the past struggled with dandruff and dermatitis want more natural means towards combatting said bacteria and issues. The shampoos don't always help and in fact take off too much natural oils which make the problem worse. The shampoos such as medicinal do too much by taking too much bacteria off and when off the shampoo continue to make the problem worse. Etc. Some people have in fact found it beneficial to use apple cider vinegar in substitution of shampoo and conditioner. In our 1st world country it's no wonder we have so many issues bc we have taken away the nature in out lives and have injected unnatural products and artificial everything which causes more harm than good. I mean shampoos and conditioners and soap bars made from goat milk, honey, any natural product is way better than the artificial. I'd take apple cider over any of your medical products bc it just doesn't help in the long run. It doesn't and that's the hard truth.

You are supposed to use it as a conditioner, not as a shampoo. It does make your hair super soft and shiny. If you can stand to smell like vinegar when you let your hair down, it's fine. Apple cider vinegar is also an excellent source for getting rid of fruit flies. I discovered this accidentally when I left the cap of my apple cider vinegar bottle off in the shower. When I went to use it next, I got a handful of vinegar and dead fruit flies. So, it's doubley helpful.🤢

Using ACV is great for helping remove buildup from well water (heavy metals) which can weigh your hair down, cause dry/itchy scalp and reduce the effectiveness of styling products. Even so, my salon recommends using it ONCE A MONTH and using a shampoo after the ACV. They also recommend a water softener to help.

I wanted to get away from products entirely and had already been using ACV for years. I heard that one method people one hundred plus years ago would do, was eggs. Some quality in egg yolks makes them able to remove excess oil. I just take an egg with me in the shower, crack it and wash away all the egg white, break the yolk in my hand and discard the little sack, then evenly distribute on the scalp and "lather" as you would shampoo. It works really well and i can go longer between washes than i could with shampoo as well. Kinda gross but no endocrine disruptors or plastic trash ❤

Overnight would be great, but you’d need a bag or something covering your head before going to bed. Then wash it off. It may take a few warm washes to get it out, because it is oil. That's not true. What do you think was used in ancient Egyptian times, Apple cidar vinegar helped with scalp issues back then and you mean to tell me they had shampoos chemicals and surfactants? Come one now!! Think.

Some natural remedies do actually work better than the things bought at the drugstore. Best try it for yourself before discarding with the idea all together.

Oh my God, this is so true about people thinking apple cider vinegar curing every damn thing. I swear these people belong to a cult. “If you got a flat tire, fill her up w/ apple cider vinegar”. I laughed out loud. You could do stand up comedy. ❤️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not shampooing doesn't equal not washing - she said replacing shampoo with acv - so many people don't shampoo their hair and all is well ...

It’s great to use ACV occasionally. Especially if washing with well water to remove mineral buildup.

I cannot get enough of these doctor/professionals blowing "hacks" and "beauty secrets" away with like, science and facts. Is there a channel just for that?

I do this a couple times a year but differently. I make a paste with baking soda and water. I use this to scrub my scalp. After rinsing well, I follow with the diluted apple cider vinegar.

I remember when coconut oil had the same hype. Boyfriend problems? Coconut oil! Dandruff? Coconut oil! Taxes? Coconut oil!
