He deserves this. I hope the fans who wanted him out realise things take time

Agreed: it takes time to for a manager to really establish himself and to get the team playing as he wants: it takes a minute to make over-critical comments about how useless he appears to be. I think DB is a smart guy, and deserves credit for riding out the bad results and seeing the U's now achieve something that this time last season would have been an impossible dream! Even if we don't beat Bolton (one of the best teams in the division), surely things are looking promising for next season.

Great result, let’s not forget that Manning shafted us, DB has taken up the reins & is doing an outstanding job.

Apart from Posh being the better team, I was interested in Oxford’s use of the physio team to delay and disrupt the game. They came on a number of times when the signal was given by an “injured” player. The ref was negligent in failing to stop this. There was no concussion or serous injury, just the desire to stop the Peterborough onslaught. This was the most one-sided game I have ever seen. Posh deserved to go to Wembley. They play football.

But they didn’t, and they are not. So go cry somewhere else :)

Its usually the other way around so its good to see oxford has this side to them when its needed. Did you see the first half of the first leg? Oxford where playing boro all over the field and it was only when oxford got a goal did they shift they style of play. Boro shouldn't have been so confident they would wipe oxford at home and oxford only conceding one goal in 3 hours of football against the highest scorers in the efl is a feat in of itself.

@@jamescelliers3195 So it’s confirmed. Over the two legs, Oxford only played football in one half. Difficult to respect an outplayed team that sneaked a penalty goal.

@@rafd3593 Apparently one half of oxford actually playing was all it took to beat boro over 2 games. Difficult to respect a team that cant score more goals than a team that doesn't play football over 2 games. Oh and you seem to be forgetting oxford beat boro 5-0 only a month ago lmao..

Two of those players were substituted with injury so I’m not sure how they were ‘injured’ players in your words
