I don’t live far from deschutes, i might have to give the trail a try this summer… as long as there’s no smoke. Im curious about the bike you are using? I have a checkpoint, which is great for the road and light gravel, but y’all’s bike holds up to a beating.

Chris your production quality is incredible and I admire your eye for great cinematography and excellent story telling. Do you have a background in video production and do you do it for a living? Also wondering do you write a script first then go bikepacking or compose the story after you've completed a trip?
@pnwbikepacking
Жыл бұрын
Thanks Dylan, I appreciate that. I do not have a background in this, just a hobby. No scripting or storyboarding... I am too lazy for that. I just get a ton of footage, then piece it all together and write some narration to help tell the story! I just finished my Pinyons and Pines video, thanks for helping to organize that route, I wouldn't go on all these amazing adventures without people like you and Dana!

Happy birthday!🍻 Looked like a great getaway. FYI the Monumental Loop went great. Crazy, we were out there for 5 days and Anton Krupicka set a new fkt and finished in 23 hours!🤯 Wild. I did film some so maybe I’ll throw a video up at some point. I wasn’t completely motivated since my friends weren’t interested to be on camera much but I’m sure I could make something out of the footage. Reach out if you want to know more info on it 🙌🏼
