Is there any specific guidlines for the mean interval?

How did you compute for the mean interval used in the description? Why is 1.00-1.49 described as low?

If you're using likert scale highest rate- lowest rate divide the highest rate.

Hi, I have a question. How do we interpret the standard deviation? For mean it has been clearly explained that higher the mean, higher will be the satisfaction level. But what about the Standard deviation?

If the standard deviation is small (as in the case in the results), it suggests that most respondents' satisfaction scores cluster closely around the mean. Conversely, if the standard deviation were larger, it would indicate that satisfaction scores vary more widely from the mean, potentially reflecting greater diversity or inconsistency in responses.

A = 20+20+25+25+30+30 B = 15+20+25+25+30+35 A & B earns Rs 25 on average (mean) but B's earning pattern is a little inconsistent (more dispersed from mean i-e Rs +10 or -10) cimpared to A. So B's earnings are riskier than A. This is what std deviation tells us. [Check Business Stats chapter 5, pp 144, by Shenoy, Srivastava, & Sharma.]

thanks for this sir very helpful, but in creating interpretation for the data is there a standard or rules to be followed or the researches may create interpretation themselves?
