Hey, David, I just wanted to comment here on this video (I do apologise for the lack of punctuality) because I saw DUNE last week as it hit the cinema in the U.S., and, while I knew the overall essence of the DUNE universe and its themes, I had not immersed myself in it prior to the new film. I cannot BELIEVE the accuracy of all of these DUNE ambiences you have been producing. These take me back to the sheer wonder and nascence of a universe about which I knew so little, engaging so tangibly with the sensory artifacts of the movie. I am even more thankful, now, that you allowed me to play a role in the further cultivation of such an intricate and multifaceted body of work. Hans Zimmer's score is wonderful, of cours, but you have masterfully embodied the themes of mystery, sparsity, the rivulets of tenacity carved by such hardened selfishness in which the deluges of uncertainty flow. So, so freakin' cool.....thank you 💜.

Its like reading poetry. Your comments are truly well written. I am myself grateful for your vocal performance and that you sparked the Dune idea to life. Sands of arrakis is somewhat semi-viral and that is really cool and its partly because of you :) Thanks for you compliments. Please mail me if you have any new cool ideas 💡 :)

Quite frankly, with the risk of sounding hyperbolic, your music fits the film better than Zimmer's score. While his is commendable, I can't help but feel yours truly embodies the essence of Dune. It's entrancing, hypnotic, and even taken away from it's origins on the sandy mounds of Arrakis, it puts me in a state of mind where I'm reminded of the path I'm meant to walk and the duty I owe it to myself and to life to walk it fully to the end, undistracted by the flimsy and beautiful sirens that sing our attention away to distant shores, never to return. Thank you. PS: I hope to collaborate with you in the future, I would love to have you as a composer for my future films.

I absolutely love this channel and it’s easily way better for reading than the OST is, but the OST is literally hypnotizing. It sounds entirely like music from another time. And have you seen the featurette on how Hans made the soundtrack? I thought how they utilized voice as an instrument, showed perfect understanding of the dune universe. But the music is too climatic/cinematic to read to. This track and the OST are just different approaches to Dune. This is better for reading but Hans is better for a film

Very emotional, like wow, the sounds used. Matching dunes feel to the universe for sure. I wish i made music like this years ago. From my understanding most of this is audio recordings and mapped synths played out on a keyboard and mixed. Everyone does production in there own way though so i could be wrong. would be interesting to see how you do it.. Don't think i have the talent required for anything close to this. Very well done and keep at it. i want to hear your stuff in sci-fi movies in the future.. ! Back to 3D modelling for me :) :) :)
