Desi Jr is fantastic himself. I wish him and sis Lucy even more blessings.

Up until now, I haven't really seen any video of him talking about either one of his parents. Only Lucie, always talks about her dad with such love and admiration, but when it comes to her mom, you get a feeling of some sort of a distance. She talks high praises about her step mother more than she does about Lucy herself which is really weird to see and read. Here as well, you can only see a photo of Desi the dad. I know they don't think Desi received the credit he deserved, which is true, as far as I've read and watched, and he does deserve a lot of credit, as much as Lucy. Though it doesn't have to come at the expense of Lucy. Not even their try in balancing the respect for. Something's really weird with this.

Thank you. This footage I had not seen. A solidarity, continuity with the past there will never be anyone who can contend or compete with Lucille Ball. Best

I believe it was the first episode after she moved to California. That was the season they started filming in color, also. It was also her first season without Vivian Vance. I believe this was either 1965 or 1966.

She raised 2 great children. They may not have been perfect all of the time, but most of the time they were upright, decent human beings. That's not an easy task in the world of Hollywood.

Unlike his sister Desi jr always speaks of his mother with love and gratitude ,and rightly so ,since she worked so hard to give her kids a luxurious life ,she was not just a fond mother but the biggest inspiration for victims of domestic abuse she rose from the ashes of her bitter marriage to Arnaz sr and made a success of her life and career after her divorce

Love seeing this! I was 12 years old when the 4th season opener of The Lucy Show "Lucy At Marineland" was broadcast on Monday evening, September 13, 1965 on CBS. It was also the first Lucy show that CBS broadcast in color. Later that evening, in Black & White, Steve Lawrence's new variety show premiered and Lucy was his guest. She talked to him about being at Marineland of the Pacific, and showed these out-takes. I also recognize the one towards the end where they all get wet by the sprinklers. It was a CBS Lucy Special "Lucy Calls The President", which was loaded with Lucy guest stars - Vivian Vance (the last time she worked with Lucy), Gale Gordon, Mary Wickes to name three. The one thing I don't remember seeing is this interview with Desi Arnaz, Jr. Thanks, John. Do you know what year that this interview was produced? I get the impression that it was after 1989, the year that Lucy passed away. She was my favorite comedienne of all time. She was endowed with the title of "First Lady of Television" and many other honors. As Sammy Davis said in 1984, the sun will never set on Lucille Ball.
