Hello Helge. From this video project I learnt several things; double side band, phantom power, threading timber, and striving for perfection with what is available. The English voice over seemed to convey your building story very well _ it made it easier for me to follow. Thanks for sharing and showing.

Thank you for your nice comments. Great that you liked the voice on the video. I'm not very good at English pronunciation.

As a retired broadcast engineer, I love great examples of AM executed well. In the days before single sideband became common, the AM circuitry in Amateur radio equipment could be underpowered or produce less than great linearity. Cathode modulation can produce a high modulation index with good linearity while avoiding the cost of a modulation transformer necessary for high level plate modulation. Great work!

Thank you for your comment. It was very easy to get good modulation with this method. With good feedback, this can provide good modulation.

Great build ! Reminds me of a single 6L6 transmitter I built and used an old tube guitar amp as the input to the grid for modulation. 73 de VE3RKP

6L6 is a good and cheap tube. It's fun with your own projects.

😅😅😅 Double side band 😅 I like homemade transmitters. I built a some of them, one with 6L6 as output tube and another one with an El84 as output tube but I'm working to upgrade it to a pair of 807 in parallel. Congrats ☺️☺️☺️ 73 de EA1FLL

Anode modulation works well using an old single end audio transformer .for the audio amp a tda250 will do the job Using a triode / pentode tv video amp tube ,pierce oscillator will put out about 1 watt.

Great video as always. I do not like the translated voice. Norwegian sounds very nice and you should keep your voice on the video.

Thank you for your comment. I will keep this in mind. I will try to speak for myself as much as possible, but this technique makes it easy to get my message out.

No need to use a translator. I think most of your fans like the accent. Translators are also bad at pronouncing technical abbreviations.
