This was so enlightening as to some of the downright bizarre design choices going on at this company lately. “why are there no vents on the fender?" He replies, “we didnt need one - this car is all about being true. What we dont need we dont put on”. Then, next question: “Inner edge integrated into the headlight cluster, does the inner edge serve any functional purpose?” He replies “No”. Lol.

This car would grow on people more favorably than g80/g82 m car as the time goes on. At least the horizontal / rectangular elements make this car wider and lower whereas the vertical front end of g80 and g82 makes the car feel taller and narrower than what it is. Last thing you want from a sports sedan is to make the car look narrower and taller than what it is. The key proportion, stance, and overall presence of this car is well done. It still is teutonic or bmw, particularly the execution of rear quarter panel, d pillar rear deck. It still is a M car, short front overhang, wheels to the corners, long dash to axle, a proper trunk deck thus a traditional bmw coupe profile. Not sure how long Jose (and team) have been designing BMW vehicles but I'm going to guess that he's been there for a few years now judging by what's happened to BMW design..... I'm sure it will grow on people, the front end anyway. This thing has no aesthetic, at least G80 has some curves attached to it but this? Downright nightmare fuel.

With all the respect, this car doesn't match the level of elegance and class of it's predecessor. Anyway is still better than the M3/M4 front ass shaped grill.

Love this design. Reminds me of my E36 ///M3 but on steroids.

Can you tell him not to work on other BMW models ? He might have the talents but we as BMW enthusiasts haven’t caught up to his style yet. his concept car looks good but for everyday BMW, he needs to win our hearts first ! maybe by giving us something we always love and expect from bmw first before he satisfy his creativity
