Thank you so much. This presentation is extremely helpful. I know this may be a huge ask. Is there a chance of sharing the storyline file for download? I definitely understand if this is not feasible. Thank you again for this very valuable presentation.

How did you create the squiggly line graphic around the 6 min mark? Is it inserted using icons or illustrations or did you make it elsewhere and copy past? Thank you. Your content is extremely valuable and helpful. I open your videos and follow and do all the things you're teaching.

Hi Tim. I love your content. It is helping me so much. I have run into a problem with button states and I can't find an answer. I am running parallel on a mac (in case that is important) and I am trying to program hover states. They look great on the edit screen but don't work at all in preview. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Any tips?

So, really dumb question: on your first slide, where did you get the graphics for the start, finish, and squiggly line? I was practicing by trying to mimic what you were doing. Under normal circumstances, I swear I spend more time just trying to find things I think should exist, and often don't (within Storyline). Because I was practicing, I didn't sweat it, but just wondering. Finding images and icons I want seems to be my biggest time drain. Anyhow, another great video. I was using it as a refresher, but I learning about the markers and button sets. BUTTON SETS!! Who knew? Thank you!

No worries! I believe I snagged it from one of the templates in the Articulate Content Library. Check under the Process Diagrams category…I think it’s in there. I’ll take a look later, once I’m back at my computer. Let me know if you find it. If not, I can just send you mine. 😊

Hey Tim, I have one question - Can we add tooltip for inbuilt buttons (like notes or Resources). If so, can you please tell me how we can do that?
@elearningacdmy
2 жыл бұрын
Hi Minal! Great question. There's no option to turn on a tool-tip like you suggested...however you could build one using a custom hover state. Let me know if that makes sense!
@minal9972
2 жыл бұрын
Yes for custom button I did added in the hover state but wanted the solution for the inbuilt buttons. Maybe we can do that with Java script, not sure (I don't know how to write Java script). If you could make a session on how to right Java script in Articulate Storyline, that would be great. Thanks!

What is the best hosting platform for articulate?
@elearningacdmy
Жыл бұрын
Great question! It really depends on what you need the hosting platform to do. For example, if you're wanting to distribute your course to your learners and track completions, then you'll need an LMS....however, I don't suspect that's what you're asking. If you want to simply host your finished course example on the web (for putting on a portfolio), then I recommend Google Cloud. And I'll be publishing a video in the near future on how to do that.

Based on the last point. Lock down navigation. Why would you not be a fan of it? The reason I ask is my company require that people must have interactions with all learning points, they don't want people to just skip through the training materials without learning

Hey Zelda! While I am familiar with iSpring, it's not a program I've used before for eLearning. However, my understanding is that it's pretty simple to get up and running with, since most of it is based on PowerPoint.
