"This study demonstrates an attempt to construct a promising subunit vaccine against the highly infectious and lethal Ebola virus, particularly the strain Mayinga 76 using bioinformatics, immunoinformatics and vaccinomics. The epitopes of MHC class I, MHC class II and B cells of three potential antigenic proteins of the virus Matrix protein VP 40 envelope glycoprotein and nucleoprotein were determined by the analysis of antigenicity, allergenicity and toxicity, along with conservancy and molecular docking study. Three highly conserved constructs: EV-1, EV-2 and EV-3 were determined and expected to be effective against all Ebola strains. EV-1 was the best construct as per molecular docking studies, which underwent codon adaptation and in silico cloning for testing large scale production. The construct now awaits safety, stability and efficacy testing by both in vivo and in vitro research."
