So great when he breaks into a guitar solo at the 4:26 mark! ...and there are several other of his guitar interludes. One of those songs that always sounds great, but always best from Dylan - from 'Lucky'. He's having so much fun, smiling widely sometimes.

This is the third vid of watched of him performing Desolation Row live and as much as I love it wonder why he skipped so many beautiful versus to that 1o verse song. It’s a master work of songwriting. But one this is certain, the musicality of the three vids is immaculate.

I always had a problem to distinguish bob dylan's own guitar playing. They used to play "separate" individual's of the musician. Of course it's important do trace his own , second version.

Nice boot of one of his best. He quit singing the "electric violin" verse. It made him break down on stage once. Anyine know why?

Andy Wolf I always. connected. it to the boo's he got when he went electric.He always laughed it off but there had to be pain that went with it. He handles his critics well but there has to be some wounds there. I'm thankful he stayed true to his music. Brillance..

Yes, it was in Sydney and I always thought it had something to do with artist Brett Whiteley, but it's a bit complicated to explain
@timjohnson7159
5 жыл бұрын
Yes, if you're talking about in Sydney where it happened twice - maybe something to do with being unable to save artist Brett Whiteley who was reaching out to him at the time, just my personal theory based on a question Brett asked Bob at a press conference and a theory that sometimes things aren't as they seem, or alternatively maybe Bob felt a bit unloved at the time.
