The Dorotheenstraße in the Berlin district of Mitte is a street parallel to the boulevard Unter den Linden in an east-west direction between the road Am Kupfergraben and Ebertstraße. Since the 25th It is named after Elector Dorothea of Brandenburg. In 1846, her numbering was changed for the first time, and in 1911 for the second time and in 1951 for the third time. From 1951 to 1995, she was named Clara-Zetkin-Straße, named after the socialist politician and women's rights activist Clara Zetkin. In the eastern part of Dorotheenstraße is the terminus of the tram lines M1 and 12, where there was also the northern entrance to the Linden tunnel.
