Vibration syndrome is a well documented health hazard and can cause nerve damage to people using tools that vibrate on a regular basis. There are special gloves that help dampen vibration. What a great video to watch and learn from. I am a home based detailer and too and I am always looking for ways to improve efficiency. The DIY line has helped me a ton with improving efficiency and delivering outstanding results. Last count I have five DIY gallon jugs in my garage and to be honest I need three more. I use the corded Flex rotary because corded versions make more torque at lower rpm’s versus battery. The gold standard polish means I do not have to tape off which saves a lot of time. It is also the standard of being pad dependent and I no longer have to carry a cutting compound and a polishing compound. @@diydetailofficial thank you for the reply. As we are in winter here in Australia, the chance of rain in a 24 hour period is high. I'm looking to use coatings that will allow me to apply, have a short cure time and not having to stress if it will rain within a few hours of the client picking the vehicle up. Would cetamic gloss act like a sacrificial layer in this instance whilst the coating is curing underneath or won't it matter? Regards

Deleted my previous comment. I should actually read the video description. :) But, have to say that it's hard to watch a video featuring Yvan where I don't learn something new. I've been looking to get a MaxShine DA to fit my small budget. Aiming at the M8S, but wondering if I should rather check out the M1000 rotary. Rotaries are scary though as one of my vehicles went off for bodywork some years back and the poor thing is still covered in holograms from when they hit it with a rotary buffer. Also such a pity I can't get any Diy Detail products over here. That iron remover with surfactants looks perfect.

Very cool clip, nice to see a visit from Yvan, my only question is , how many pads do you recommend for polishing? I’m a novice to it so I’m kinda nervous, def don’t wanna mess up my exterior lol. Lastly what’s the best way to clean the pads, I’m a driveway enthusiast….i def don’t have a need for the lake country pad cleaner that’s a bit overkill for me. 🙏🏼
Great video! I was wondering what process is done if you are doing iron decontamination on a convertible? is there any concern about the product damaging or staining? obviously you wouldn't be applying it to the top, but there is certainly opportunity for the product entering the tops well during rinsing?
