Thank you Amina. I just got subscribed to your channel. I must confess that you are doing a great job here. You are about the most honest person on this. Thank you. I am planning to relocate with my family (myself, wife and two kids). My heart is actually beating because of the cost involve considering Nigeria of 2023. I have never traveled to any country b4. Pls what will be your advice for me? To go first and family later or to go all at once?
@AminaDanjuma
11 ай бұрын
Awww, Thanks! Glad you have found my video helpful. Hmmm, honestly Nigeria is not for the faint of heart so i completely understand. The cost of relocation can add up and become a lot, but i would always advice to go along with the family at once if possible, because what ever u spend will still be spent if you choose to bring them later (but it will be plus inflation at that point). Then there is also the waiting period ( takes at leat 1year to start and finish the process, then you will have to go and settle which can take 6months - 1yr ), the emotional toll of being away from the family. Sorry for the long answer😅. At the end of the day, it honestly depends on you and what your family feel is the best. Just way all the pros and cons and make your decision.

Hi Amina. Thank you so much for the great info you provide on your channel. I have found it very helpful. Please keep it up, you are doing a great service to us and everyone on this journey. I just wanted to ask about the issue of soft landing after getting my COPR. I will be migrating with my family. So I was thinking of soft landing and activating my PR by myself first then coming back home to wind things down and then collecting my whole family with me. Is it mandatory to bring all my family members with for the first time, or do I just have to do it by myself since I am the principal applicant? Waiting for your responds, thank you very much
@AminaDanjuma

Hi! so sorry for my late reply. Glad you found the video helpful. So yes you can land first and then go back to nigeria before returning with your family, but you just have to make sure they also come into the country before the expiration of their COPR.

You welcome! glad you found the video helpful. with regards using the money, i would say wait until you land. After i got my visa approval i was never asked about POF again. But i have seen people saying they can ask you at the airport when you get to canada ( doesn't make sense or seem right to me) but its better to be safe than sorry.

Unfortunately No. Almost all routes require a proof of funds (although the amount might vary). The only way i know is if you secure a job and come through a work visa.

For a Nigerian who hasn't been to any country, is it necessary we pay for the PCR?
@AminaDanjuma
Жыл бұрын
You only need a PCR for any country which you have lived in for more than 6months. So in this case, you will only need to get a PCR from Nigeria.

there is no specific limit for the amount of years, but i believe the more experience you have, the better. Also there is a list of documents to you need to prove employment on the IRCC website that you can take a look at
