Thanks! I don't have the measurements, unfortunately - I just used the mini's as references. However, the door is approximately 25 mm in diameter. I know it's not a lot to work from, but the door is actually a really good starting point as far as scaling goes. Draw the door (25mm) on a paper and add the wall around it. Think about how much grass you want in between the windows and work it out from there. (Oh also, the fence gate is 25-26 mm wide as it allows for the MESBG-base to fit through.)

Cool build! I like that everything is removable! I build Middle Earth themed dioramas and displays myself using the MESBG miniatures as well! So I know how much work and thought goes into such a project!

Forgeworld recently released a resin wall piece for a Hobbit hole... But even though it's detailed, it will not allow you to open the doors or light up the windows etc. and you'll still have to construct the hill, paint the walls and apply some flocking... So I would recommend building it from scratch. Wooden boards/planks, brickwork and windows are surprisingly easy to sculpt - it's mostly circles and simple lines, no complicated shapes. It takes a while, but I personally find the process very enjoyable! ^^ (Oh - and please don't kill me btw... xD )

Are you going for Bag End or another hobbit hole? And is it for SBG or what scale? I would start by finding a ton of reference pictures and then consider what to translate to your model to get a proper amount of details without making the job too difficult. Like you can use a net for the gitters in the windows instead of sculpting them... Also, make some sketches and start out by building the wall(s) (including details etc.), then it's quite easy to shape the hill around it/them. ^^

This is fabulous! I'm working on a Bag End of similar scale for my Christmas train set. Can I ask about dimensions? How tall is the door? Thanks!
