I was considering buying this with the 100 w solar panel as a kit only $199 as an interim until I can afford a bigger and better unit. But I am glad I watched your video. Thank you so much I will not be getting this... I'll wait.

I have a Cap. One CC extension in Chrome and with that at Amaz. I see this unit for $159 right now. If I was in the market this would be a no brainer. Good review of these lessor known brands though, just because it isn't a Jackery or Delta doesn't mean it can't be just as good and you can save a bunch of cash. These are must have devices for camping these days.

That was an interesting test. I'm no expert, but that battery seems to do a lot for its size. Very compact. I do hope that handle release would get easier over time. Thank you for the review.

The recharge thing is very interesting. In a vehicle it means that you can recharge the unit at nearly 120w by charging simultaneously off a 12v cigar lighter and also via a cheap inverter thereby halving the recharge time when you're driving. Or am I missing something?
@OffGridBasement

What would you be using to power the cheap inverter? A second cigarette lighter port?

Very good video, but in your CC capacity test, it seems that the battery capacity falls far short of the advertised 78000mAh. Could you clarify this?
@OffGridBasement
10 ай бұрын
The capacity isn't really that bad. You need to remember that 78000mAh is rated @ 3.7v, not 12v. Hope that helps! Thanks for the comment.

I'm not sure if the unit will power a mini fridge. The initial surge might be too much. I'll need to do a test. The heater is a Wagner heat gun I bought at a local hardware store. Thanks for the comment.

Your tests are very thorough. Do you have any headphones that you could try on the wireless charging pad? I checked your link and they’re offering another $50 off for a spring sale. If you can stack your coupon on top of it, it would be below $200 which is a great buy

Thanks. I tried some air pod pros and they don't even blink. I tried the same on the GoFort 1000 and they turn on for about 3 seconds. I honestly think the air pods need an apple proprietary wireless charger in order to work. Thanks for the comment!

Have you found the unit is prone to self discharge when stored. My neighbour and I have a unit and both went from 100% to 0% when stored in warm home.?

I know you should charge every 3 to 6 months. I don't really know. My son uses the unit for charging his tablet so it gets constant use!

@@OffGridBasement Thanks for reply, the best we can determine is that given there is no master on/off switch, the unit is constantly supply power to the switches which are like a touch sensitive switch and this must be draining battery but to totally flatten in 3 months seems excessive. I now have unit on a smart switch which turns on weekly to send some power to unit. Hopefully solves issue. I have a PoweOak unit which does not have this issue despite “similar” switches. Very annoying to pull it out in a power cut and find it dead!

I bought two, both flat on arrival because I believe the unit, not having a master on/off switch constantly feeds power to switches and flatten battery. I found 3 months of non use and the unit is dead flat.

Do you have it plugged into the correct port on the unit? The unit should turn on right out of the box. If it doesn't turn on then you received a defective unit and you send it back or email the customer support.
