Connor is an android detective, so you can definitely see (hear lol) how this OST would fit him so well while doing investigations

I find it very fun that you said that this sounds like a movie and one of the main critisisms against David Cage, the game's director, is that he doesn't make 'games' but a movie with a game forced into it.

This was fun. I don't think I've ever sat down and listened to this all the way through. It got VERY stressful towards the end especially. Here's a fun fact. This game soundtrack has (at least) 3 composers. One composer for each of the three main characters' segments. I played this game a few years back and absolutely loved it.

You made me burst out laughing when you said "you listen to this if you wanna be stressed" ! 😂 I'll try to explain the best I can !👀💦 DBH is basically an interactive choice-based game, you control 3 androids (including Connor) and make decision based on how you want to shape their story. There's at least 50 different endings. The game is pretty much a movie, but it's not hard to figure it out with the way its composed. All 3 androids have their own composer for their own story/personality, the composer for Connor is Nima Fakhrara. Connor is special because his personality is very robotic/cold, compared to the 2 others. In the story he's an android cop, only programmed to do his mission: tracking and stoping deviants androids with the help of humans cops. Through Connor's story, you can play him as either a cold-blooded robot, ready to kill anything at sight just for the sake of his mission, or play him as an android going against his own program while knowing that failing his mission means he'll be deactivated. And his theme is basically that, dancing with his cold-blooded personality, then having existential moments, experiencing some bits of emotions, but also scared to be deactivated, always walking on eggshells. The game and his OST (AND the actor, Bryan Dechart!) did a pretty good job on representing that, making Connor the most liked character in the game. It's not easy to react to this kind of genre because context is super important, but you grasped it pretty well, Thank you!

I think Connor's theme is very similar to Hans Zimmer soundtracks such as Dark Knight and Inception, which is why I love it so much.

This is kind of a medley of songs that play during different Connor scenes throughout the game. I had never heard this version as a whole compilation but I recognized all of the pieces. Definitely a fun game to play thru. Since the game changes based off of your choices there is a ton of replayability. And you can never truly make a "wrong" choice because it just makes you wanna try it differently on your next playthru. The story is very interesting and the graphics and music are very immersive. I think I've done 4 full playthrus myself lol.

I'm so happy you did this video thank you. This was one of my favourite games growing up I absolutely adored it. And it is super fun to see you react to it. I hope you will do more of it in the future and also I really recommend playing it I think you would really like it. It's pretty much an interactive movie. oh yeah and the game has three different composers with very different styles For each of the three main characters Connor, Kara, and Markus. And I think that's really cool. So thank you and I hope to see more.

Detroit: Become Human is kind of like a choose your own adventure story in video game form. Connor is one of three playable characters, all of whom can have very different stories. Connor's story, as an android detective prototype, has the widest variance of story--his character is kind of like a blank slate, and you can play him to be a protagonist _or_ antagonist, depending on how you want to go. He's definitely my second favorite character in the game (behind Hank, because Hank is

Thing is, out of the 3 main charachters, none are actually bad/good per se, it very much depends on your choices and how you want the game to develop. Your views will definitely change throughout and truth be told, Connor is really mysterious and uncertain in character, so the theme quite matches his appearence and plot development. Definitely a game to try out.

say whatever you want, Markus theme is so humane and with vocal is so chill, Kara's theme is so touchy and motherly, so tender, but Connor's theme were, is and will be the best out of all soundtracks in this masterpiece called "Detroit" 💙

Pure speculation on my part: the song sounds like it would be used dynamically, like it'd loop one section until the player hits a trigger that advances the song.

So, I've been thinking how to get Jesse to react to a Yuki Kajiura's song when he's very specific about not taking anime OST on this channel. Then I remember she did the OST for Xenosaga. I would've requested it myself if it's not for the fact that my credit card was locked. Please, anyone, MAKE him listen to "My long forgotten cloistered sleep".
