I've personally worked in those areas (construction) and it's not much different during daylight hours either. I've thought about how and why it's like that. 1) Music genre that promotes a life that's not productive. 2) Drugs, most of which are illegal. 3) Government hand outs that are easily obtained. 4) Having multiple children whom are looked at as tax deductions. 5) No parenting skills at all that go on from generation to generation. 6) Not a lick of common decency to anyone. 7) Easily offended to which they have no idea how to handle without a stolen firearm. 7) Court systems that are far beyond pathetic. 8) Failure to want a change in lifestyle. 9) Zero accountability. There's more but I think I've made my point clear. I'm probably going to get some flack back on this but it's how I see it. I have talked to many who live in those areas that are hard working and maintain their house and property very well but unfortunately they are far outnumbered by people who are like the video shows. One little old lady I spoke to in Ecorse a few years back was raised in the same house I was working next too. She was in her mid 80's. Her yard looked amazing. She cried saying how it hurts to see her neighborhood run down like it is. Sad. Very sad.
