Recorded on March 29th, 2024. Hudson, Carter and Nick had a productive afternoon fishing the MIGHTY Detroit River! We started jigging at 3pm and had five fish in the boat in the first 20 minutes! We fished south of the Gordie Howe International Bridge for five hours and went home with 16 Walleye and a couple dozen Yellow Perch. Biggest Walleye measured 26 1/2" and roughly 6 1/2lbs.
Black, pink, and green Bondy worms were the hot baits! Drifts started in about 33ft of water, fished as shallow as 20ft. We got our Emerald Shiners from Cooper's in Amherstburg, ON. They had a good supply at the time!
