As soon as the US-Canada border opens, you should make a video driving through East Hastings in Vancouver. Since in Canada if you are homeless you are likely to freeze to death, homeless people from all across the country go to Vancouver because it is warm. If you take all that despair, poverty, addiction, and mental illness and jam it into a space of about only 2 blocks, you get East Hastings. Statistically, it has the highest rate of drug usage in all of North America, the highest rates of HIV in the entire world besides Sub Saharan Africa, and in only 2 blocks in East Hastings there were about 3000 overdoses in the timespan of 2 years. It is not particularly dangerous compared to other places you've driven through before, but the feeling of depression and hopelessness in the air of east hastings is overwhelming. I think it would be interesting to see you drive through it.

I've seen videos of people in third world countries who have dirt floors that keep their environment better looking and cleaner. These people are okay with spending $50k on a car but when it comes to their home or neighborhood, they willingly let them fall apart. This area doesn't need help, it needs to be razed.

@ Atiashaun Baker..I just left the Rocinha favelas south zone...The proverty in the favelas are like the proverty in those rural areas in Mississippi..But I wouldn’t say the favelas make Detroit look like choir boys ..I been to both places and you would probably be safer in the favelas because it not as aggressive as Detroit hoods when it comes to violence against one other .But one thing different about the hoods in America vs the favelas at any given time the Gangstas will be at war with the military police..You dont see that type of action in America..Oh another thing if you look like a tourist they will rob you ..Europeans get robbed alot in Brazil..They don’t fuck with black ppl because you can blend in with the blk population there ...

All the ball players and rappers from Detroit need to just start buying up whole streets and renovating. Could inflate the market value.
