This is my first public comment on KZitem after years of watching KZitem videos. Thank you for taking time to explain how to use this staple gun. As someone mentioned before, when I purchased mine, no instructions came with it and you would think using a staple gun would intuitive; no chance on that. Your thoroughness regarding its use is greatly appreciated.

@@scaddler1 Thank you. And yes it did take a little getting use to the negatives. One big reason I didn't want to do this. When i uploaded my first video i knew i opened myself to a new can of worms. Good and Bad. the bad i had to let roll off like water off a duck. But at first it was hard. I'm not a great personality or have those WOW and glitter videos. i had to let it go because the good out weighted the bad. You cant please all, all the time. once a staple has been stapled, lets say through some thin cardboard or plastic, does it secure itself in place, like a "normal" office stapler at the back or is it just 2 straight prongs as it were... Hope that makes sense?!
@TheShackHome

James makes perfect sense but unlike an office stapler there is no backing it is stapling onto. So no way for it ti curl under. Just straight into the material that's it. Great question thanks for viewing.

Nice video, very thorough! How will it do on MDF? (Namely the Brad Nails)
@TheShackHome
7 жыл бұрын
Sahak not so good. I found an old piece of MDF and tried it out. brads on either setting wouldn't nail flush, cable staples wouldn't work and 3/8" heavy duty staples were the only thing that actually did good. they at least stapled flush on the plus setting.Thanks for viewing, good question.
@antlerup
7 жыл бұрын
I wonder if it's because MDF is so compacted? I'm working on a bartop arcade project which is made entirely of 3/4" MDF. There are small pieces that fit into grooves which I'm using wood glue to secure but thought as an extra measure would be good to brad nail them. So then from what I understand this particular staple gun isn't ideal for that?
@TheShackHome
7 жыл бұрын
yes Sahak not being natural wood MDF has no pores and very dense. even if you were to tack on pine to the MDF i doubt it would be able to staple flush. You can always use the stapler but also use a hammer to nail them flush and set punch to countersink the brads If i were setting small pieces in grooves i would actually use a pinner just to keep keep it till glue dries and easy to hide the nail hole much smaller. But then you'd need a small compressor and a gun that shoots the pins
