I have the Dewalt DCF923...Same tool with the 3/8 anvil..........Works fine so far..

My Neighbor picked it up the 1/2 Dewalt over the weekend and we compared My oldie but goodie 3/8 stubby like yours, but with a 6.0 battery. Key takeaways we noticed is the weight of the socket being used matters big time. We did a few lag test on a tree stump then took them over to an Old beefy 72 f250 rear lug nutts. The Dewalt 1/2 was a bit quicker on most things, but as soon as I put a 3/8 to half inch adapter on the stubby it was smoking the Dewalt a real night and day difference in power. The 3/8 regular small sockets don't transfer the power as much as the heavier 1/2 do. That being said I'm still going to pick this 1/2 up since I do like the thinner handle of the Dewalt plus the lights. The soon to be released 5Ah Powersrack will make it a Monster for sure. I believe this first offering is equivalent in "power" not run time to a regular lets say 5.0Ah milwakee battery and the larger 5Ah Powersrack coming out will be close to a powerboost of a 12.0 Milwakee crazy!!!!

Great video! I actually just sold my M12 drill and impact to get the DeWalt line up. I love the m12 but the DeWalt and their new features and the way they feel in the hand that was the deciding factor

DeWalt is pretty honest with their torque claims. This was tested and it hits those numbers. And I don't think that deal with the 5ah battery is available anymore. It ended last month I think. I couldn't get it to work at HD.

8 months after the fact, but HD currently has an even better deal: buy DeWalt Starter Kit (includes: 4ah, 6ah batteries, charger & bag) for $199 & get DCF 921 free.

@@richardmejia254 I actually bought that deal but got the cutoff tool... But I already have the impact. ☺️

I genuinely enjoy your channel man. Realistic testing too. I’m in the red platform but I’m definitely wanting to be multi lingual in colors. Wow the similarities on them two impacts 🤯. Someone’s in bed with someone 🤫

I have this tool too, however it's says 4 mode options (timber speed 1 and 2, then bolt speed 1 and 2). I guess I'm slow because I don't see how to select the various options. It's seems like modes are bolt, timber, speed 1 and speed 2. Anyone's help is appreciated.

I believe the battery platform makes the difference 20v vs 12v. And thats my final answer.

@@dewalt_6728 I bet you can get dirt cheap regular 5ah batteries once the PS is released though.

Kind of an unfair test because it's 20 v versus 12v

Самое тупое сопостовлять 18вольтовый инстиумент с 12 вольтовым. Также размерность с 1/2 и 3/8🤣🤣🤣🤣
