I showed your songs (Ballada E and Metal Ballad Em) to my step-dad a few months ago. It literally made him tear up. When I asked why, he said it was because his dad wasn't alive to hear it. His dad was a piano clarinet player who played with Charlie Parker and later Miles Davis during his fusion days. He was certain your songs would've blown him away.

So I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out why @dhalif is so good and, for me at least, I think I have figured it out. With other guitarists; i.e. Steve Vai, Joey Tafolla, etc., they have moments of brilliance but they also have lulls in all of their songs. They try to create too much of an operatic feel with their songs. This dude just plays. And after he plays something that moves you, the next bit of playing moves you more or in a different direction. It's quite interesting and I could listen to all of his stuff without ever saying "get on with it" or "this sounds like the other song you just played." Dude has talent.

Two note were out of scale while sliding at 0:35 and at 0:54 you can see it in his face too.. but that's nothing compared to effort he put to this piece ..he did awesome playing.

I think the 21 fret Strat suits u better, maybe the narrow span nearing the 24th frets too small a space for your fingers, that may cause some slippage :-P.
