I spent my childhood up in Anchorage back in the 70s. We lived over by the airport in this area called Turnagain by the sea and next to the airport was a lake that was called Spinard lake. We would go to the lake and watch these Beavers take off and land all the time! What a beautiful site they were!!!!

Supper N1CE landing... On short final I ave stayed in a few of them hotels on the right when Flying the 747... I however would have gone sightseeing to the south towards Moose Pass, or north towards Willow... Not the swamps.
