A slow turning motor could be a bad wire. Ever heard of voltage drop? It’s a wire that can’t send its full potential across. To test, you simply use a digital multimeter. Put one probe at the start of the wire, use the remaining probe on the end of the wire. Hit the switch. If you find a value greater than .5 volts, you have voltage drop. The cable may look good, you can do an continuity test, but all in all, you have a bad wire, in order to make that motor turn, it needs its full potential to do its work.

Who do you use for your pumps? I kñow Lona and Sons out of Kansas City used to be the best around. It's been a long time though since I've heard anything about them. We have a local guy here in town that runs a tint shop and all his shit is Lona and Sons. One of the only guys I know around here that has hydros. He says they are booked up a good couple of months with work. Glad you got her back up and bouncing before junkys meet up Saturday. He's gonna love you 😘 and of course the Lincoln.

Hard Knocks Forge iv never even herd of lona and sons. Is that a shop name or a brand name. The 2 pumps in the car are prohoppers and the 3rd i added started as a hi-low pump but iv had it so long the only orignal thing left on it is the aluminum block that says Hi Low. I also have a old school reds pump left on the shelf. All of those companies are now out of business. Im going to track down a prohopper block and tank plate this winter to make that 3rd pump match

Lona and Sons is a shop but they make their own pumps and dumps. Used to be the best in the business. I bet if you look in an old Lowrider magazine from the 90's-2000's you'll see one of their ads. Pretty sure they had a couple shops. Lona and Sons Hydraulics and Lona and Sons Automotive.

Wouldn't the hoses being sealed stop the pump from turning.. bc it can't push/ pull the oil
