"Dexter's Laboratory" is a cartoon that ran from 1996-1998 and again in 2001-2003. Following boy genius Dexter's scientific pursuits despite his sister's persistent pestering, the show is one of the all-time Cartoon Network greats.
Often overlooked when remembering "Dexter's Laboratory" are the two original companion segments: "Dial M for Monkey" and "The Justice Friends". Were the cartoons about the superhero monkey and the three superhero roommates as good as the Dexter parts of the show? Or are they quirky footnotes in one of the great 90s cartoons?
