It looks nice but i'm super critical (being a Dilbert) and those directors being able to slide within their saddles has me reaching for my drill. They need to be secured properly with a self tapping screw, at very least. I mean, if you are producing an antenna, surely element length, and position is paramount. no? Too often, buying an antenna results in you improving on the manufacturers design before even installing it...

Once you tighten each element they won't slip out of the saddle or move around.

Many thanks for this video. I've been a customer of "Watson" for some years. I have 2 questions : how come the reflector seems shorter than the radiator ? Can you install them in a vertical polarisation ? Cheers, 73s de F4HZN

Probably the angle of photo makes it look shorter? Yes it can be used vertically but best to use fubre glass mast section. Peter

Great antenna... I use one along with my yeasu 817 for portable activations, I have had some great contacts. If you look closely at the elements you should be able to see a centre marker line to centralize them. Regards Paul M0TZR
