I currently have a nice 9 ft pool table which is very nice..I had an 8 ft pool table before and I think people enjoyed the 8 footer more than the 9 footer...maybe cause 9 ft is harder to play since is longer and pockets are narrower? Thinking about selling 9 to get an 8ft table. We don't play professionally just for fun in my garage man cave...debating between selling my 9 footer to get an8 footer..what kind a felt and bumpers should I get ether for 8 footer or even if I decide to keep 9 footer? I have enough room to play on 9 footer, well I have a pub round table on corner of garage with 2 barstools and people have to move when shooting from that corner. Also I have just barely enough room along wall to shoot..however I was thinking about putting a shelve along wall for drinks etc, etc..but tje shelve will definitely get in the way when shooting from that side of wall..so that's why I was thinking about 8 footer to just have a little more space Maybe get a nice Dimond pro with good bumpers and blue felt, or upgrade my current 9 footer with good bumpers and blue felt too:)

When the table is big enough to hinder many shots because of reach (Need for a bridge).... it doesn't improve the game. IMO

So u guys are saying unprwfer 8 over 9 footer?
@2869may

@@futbol1972 For sure, there's no need for anything bigger than that.... Even if you're good enough to play on a 9 footer, most other people aren't and wouldn't have as much fun when they're missing all the time... I only have room for a bar box, but I built it myself cause the budget tables I could afford are all junk...! Check it out... kzitem.info/news/bejne/tYhjuJyugWqolqg

Dude, nice table and nice shooting. You are coming up on every shot. Check out your shoulders just after your pause on the backswing. You are extremely consistent with this, so it will be easy to fix. Good shooting though!

Thanks. I appreciate the observation. I do agree that I rise up pretty fast. I will definitely work on it.

@@cellardoor7500 Yeah but the title says 7. Pretty sure the guy knows what size his table, no matter what it looks like. AND it does look like 7. All you have to do is look at his cue length and his height to get an idea.

pretty good break and run but you start coming up out your stance before every stroke. at least its consistent every time whch must explain why you are able to be accurate with so much body movement.

Pool fundamentals are a base for any player, some people are just accurate without it, watch Efran and Bustamante, both top notch pro players yet they also move alot.
