Superb videos. I'm learning G1000 for DA40NG and these videos are invaluable. Great production quality too. Thank you for sharing.

Love your channel, I had a ppl years ago prior to joining the Air Force, and was hoping to get recertification after many years, I'm only a few miles from krnt, I'm in the Renton highlands, and have seen your aircraft several times. Long story short, I had cardiac arrest last year, and did a bit of flying with the angels for 9 minutes until the police officer who started cpr, and the paramedics got my heart started again lol, and then spent 4 monts total in the hospital and in nursing facility learning to walk again, so l will never be able to pass the physical again, so I live vicariously through your channel as well as having a ridiculous 1200 hours in Microsoft flight simulator in the last year to help me get past the fact that my piloting days are over, except for virtually 😂 keep up the good work!

Wow, thanks for the nice comments. It sounds like quite a journey you've been on recently. Sorry the flying outside of MSFS is behind you but glad you are recovered!

I want to thank you for putting these videos up and sharing the content. Right now I am finishing up my Multi IFR training in Canada. Watching your videos has really helped me to wrap my head around the real world IFR and studying my books and procedures. The full audio and plates on the screen really helped me to clearly understand the full procedures and ATC calls. Luckily I am doing the MIFR in a DA42 so your content very relatable for me in my training. Your flows are excellent and I commend the work you do for Angel Flights. Very cool! We have Hope Air in Canada so I hope one day to follow in your foot steps. Cheers fly safe🛫

Thanks! It certainly was a busy flight but fun. Editing the audio takes almost as long as the video. I try to make it as similar as possible to what I actually hear in the plane.

FINALLY got my instrument rating here in Australia. I plan on coming back to the PNW in the next 3-4 months to exercise it with one of the instructors at Renton again.

Another great video, and what an exciting mission! I fly at BEFA and it was cool to hear it mentioned after your clearance! If you're signing up students for MEI, would love to put my name in!

Your videos are so well done were you a professional editor or movie director in your past life?

Thanks Fred! The only professional background I can refer to is that my father was a film editor for an Australian TV station in the '60s and '70s! I can't imagine what that must have been like given the incredible editing tools we have today. I do remember him showing how to edit film ... my strongest memory is that the smell of the glue made me really dizzy 🙂

Great project to get your instructor ticket. Did you mean CFI, CFII or MEI? Do you plan to instruct in 2DL?

I'm working on my "MEI Initial" meaning my initial CFI ticket would be for teaching in multi-engine planes. I can add-on a regular single engine CFI later. It's not a common process but works for me since I am mostly flying multi-engine. My plan is to instruct at Galvin flight school. They currently have DA42s on their flight line.
