When you realise that every blemish and scratch on that wooden horn tells the story of a specific project. You realise the huge time and effort this person puts into his work. I salute you sir for another great piece of art

Imagine if you will being able to show your client the ring they want in a matter of hours depending on complexity of the cad drawing vs days/weeks/months just to have them at the end be unsatisfied and demand a refund in a policy that says non refundable deposit then try to take you to court over it
@calebwiggins3042
3 жыл бұрын
So while doing it by hand is preferable 3d printing has its place it can also make complex geometries that are impossible with conventional tooling and techniques

Anthony Wood I've been a goldsmith for 18 months now and it's the best damn thing I've done with my life. I currently work in England but getting married and moving to New York soon to hopefully work in the Manhattan diamond district. If you have a passion for creating beautiful things, a steady hand, attention to fine detail and the patience of a saint then definitely try it out! It's an extremely rewarding career choice and I find it's something I wake up and go to bed thinking about and can't wait to get back into the workshop to create more jewellery. Like the man says, put passion into your work and always be patient.
