I took my husband to see her show, at the Hollywood Bowl, for our anniversary, August 25, 2012. I had arranged with Ms. Krall's fan club, to go backstage afterwards. We got to meet her and got a pic of her with my husband. Her people were awesome to arrange that, for my husband, who had terminal brain cancer. He died several months later...

As a young girl trying to get out of the emptiness of pop music, I browsed the Jazz section in a music store one day and found a CD cover with a young beautiful woman on the cover with my name. I knew nothing about jazz at the time but I took a chance and bought it and have been a fan since. You were my first step in learning to love all types of jazz music. You feel she's in a trance, like she's embodying the song ... she's so cool, but it's almost like her eyes are puffy from crying, and this is the lucid moment that's come after the tears. She's an actress and singer, really combined, totally at one with the music. Love her.

In case no one has mentioned it, this song was written by Arthur Hamilton. I sat next to him in traffic school in LA. We ended up writing a few songs together. One of those ‘only in hollywood’ moments.

Masterful, sophisticated, elegant and so flippin talented! The jazz notes, off beat timing with her vocals and playing is so ridiculously amazing! So seasoned, oozing with natural musicianship and music is her soul. This is true talent from Ms Krall and her band, with no rubbish auto-tune needed! Been a fan for decades! Shes a beast on the keys! Looks like Lisa Presley.

Diana, I have been singing all my life and have so admired your talent for maybe fifteen years. My college vocal director said I sing like Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughn. How I would so love to meet you and be at one of your concerts but I am now 83 so not getting out much at all. I continue to admire you via internet. This is one talented woman. I remember buying Billboard magazine and when she released an Album she would hold the number one spot for months and then I found out why. Her music is out of this world.
