So much more than a fashion documentary.....she says something in the closing minutes that's as profound as you will ever get with regards age and dying........the fashion is interesting, but the real interest is her attitude to this thing we call life........

Fascinating documentary. Dv's idealism out of this world. When a person dreams when they are awake as she did.. the world must always look beautiful. You can design the world you live in.. what's better??

Anna is wonderful on her own account. Is she as revolutionary as Diana Vreeland? probably not, but the thing is Diana was the first very important editor for VOGUE or any other fashion magazine. If Anna had been the editor of vouge under the same conditions and Diana, she would probably be just as important..I don't know, not arguing, anyway...that's just what I think.

Anna doesn't have the flair and Joie de Vivre Diana had. The only person who was come close is Franca Sozzani.

Diana Vreeland... shocked but not shocked that she unfortunately exhibited racism towards black models during her tenure in vogue (i.e. Donyale Luna).

There is room for AW and DV - remember, when AW was asked in "The September Issue" about her number one strength, she said it was her ability to make decisions. She's not even in the competition Ric419 is imposing on her.

It depends on who you are and what you are interested in.Something you think would be worth making a documentary about others may think is absolute crap.People who are interested in fashion think she is important.
