My biggest cube is a 9×9 and it seems strange to me that a puzzle with 4 more layers is being factory magnetized

Great video. Just a small question, how are you able to move the cube so smoothly without pop-ups? My solving time is really low on big cubes since I am always looking to avoid pieces popping out every now and then.
@apcubes
4 ай бұрын
It's difficult to answer this, but I guess I developed a turning style/muscle memory so I avoid pops. That being said, I still get pops sometimes if I'm not being careful. Most of my videos here are my pb time so they don't have a pop

The magnets look too weak and the cube looks unstable. Is it a good cube or would you recommend that someone who likes stable cubes buy a meilong 13x13 and make it magnetic by hand?
@apcubes
3 ай бұрын
Magnets do not need to be very strong, it still has good alignment. I guess it takes some time for the cube to break in and get used to so it turns better now than it did in this video (see my recent 15:47 solve). I wouldn't recommend the meilong since it's 1cm larger and the middle layer catches internally sometimes

That thing is going to eat lube! I've got the 8x8 -10x10 coming at Christmas and I'll have the 11x11 and 12x12 by the end of January! I'll get the 13x13 if and when it comes out in the UK but KewbzUK is only showing the Diansheng 8x8 to 12x12 unfortunately!
