Yes Mr. Proenneke has been sick as a child, I think it was Polio. If you read his personal book you will find it very rewarding.Another great book is Alaska by Michner. If you have never been up here you must make the trip to the Great Land!

No matter how many times I see this, it still amazes me that Mr. Proenneke lived his life to the fullest. Not many people can say they have lived like this anymore. I told a friend in Alaska I wanted to find some property out away from everyone, He thinks I'm nuts, lol. Maybe a little, lol.

drop infection isn´t a fact, but a theory, still unproven. he doesn´t get sick because he doesn´t have any "biological conflicts" which result in special biological programs of our body, often called "diseases". btw. what is a virus? here an introduction to the concepts i´ve just introduced you to: with several subtitles, 4hours, hard work and open mind necessary /watch?v=Z57uBCcOdvI

When the Europeans came to North America, they 1st killed off the Buffalo, Elk, Wolfs and then the Native People. Now the only place you can see them are on Reservations. Mr Proenneke lived in a world of yesterday gone by. How wonderful he must have felt living there can only be imagined through these movies. Thank you :)
