The marriage between Jace and Helaena is actually a bad idea. Yes Jace is a far better person than Aegon and would be a better husband but the issue is he IS an illegitimate heir to the throne. And even though we see the disdain and distrust mostly from Alicents and the greens perspective, many of the major lords of Westeros know that Rhaenyras first 3 kids are bastards and would most likely object to one being named King. It would be much easier if Viserys or Rhaenyra declared them legitimate (making them legal heirs), but both just pretend they already are. So Jace would 100% face opposition and any bad things that Jace got into, so would Helaena. So marrying her daughter to Jace would basically mean she's signing her daughters death to happen.

the queen (and king) did NOT go visit the baby; the baby is meant to be brought to them. them's the rules. also, Viserys had no problem with it so why should anyone else? Why is Alicent to blame for Rhaenyra's stupid, foolish, stubborn pride?

Excellent analysis! Very interesting take on Alicent. I found myself a little unsure of her due to her very dramatic morality swings scene by scene, but I have to disagree with you on the point you made about Alicent ruling in the King’s place. Rhae was not informed about her fathers failing health, given how taken aback and by surprise she and Daemon both were. Once the king’s health began declining severely, the Hand should have reached out to the heir and to inform her and bring her back to court. The Hand only rules in place of the King only if the King decrees it OR the heir is too young to succeed him. It was Otto’s duty to bring Rhea back to court, which he purposefully did not do because he wanted his family to be the ones seen taking action. And Alicent’s public nurturing of the king felt very planned and put-on in my opinion, likely for public sympathy and support.

It's true that Otto could've informed Rhaenyra but Rhaenyra could've also visit her father every few months or so, I mean come on he's been pasting out for fucks sake. I mean its kind of fucked up that she only visits her father when she's in trouble and needs help.

they saw him right before he died. like they were literally having dinner with him and then he died the next day after they left. they knew he was in extremely poor health and his death was imminent. they knew he was barely clinging on to life, in fact daemon literally thinks hes being poisoned by Alicent that's why it was so stupid for them to leave. they shouldnt have to be told to stay in King's Landing when you can literally see half of the king's skull, knowing full well that she will have to ascend the throne when he dies soon. They basically want nothing to do with Viserys until he dies or they need help, otherwise they leave Alicent to act as his secretary and full time care provider. they really expected the Greens to do all the hard work of caring for this rotting old man and running his kingdom and then when he dies they'll call the Blacks over to come collect their prize.

My issue with alicents character is the willful blindness to her hypocrisy. Rhaenyra is judged yet she ignores and completely abandoned her duty to prepare aegon to rule. If aegon was fit then I could agree however it is now purely just because he’s her son, which is a privilege she hate rhaenyra for. Rhaenyra is Viserys first born that comes with privilege. I don’t side with black of green, I just like being aware of the flaws on both sides.

@@jjh2456 yes but only one was introduced this season so I didn’t want to bring him up and I’m not sure how young they will make him. I personally think Aemond is just like Daemon, he should not rule. It’s the fact that she pretends to be this good person, rules in the name of the seven, is a just queen, but she’s not, she’s blinded by hate and fear. This is not me saying I chose one over the other. This is me being honest about the character. I feel like with the dance you have to be honest about each side because they are both wrong.

First off .She just misunderstood Vesris,s last message about ageon uniting the kingdom. So of course she will think it's thire son. I mean it's his birth right in the first place. Why I know alicent misunderstood Vesris,s last message is because of the fact that she refused and was mad at the council when they brought up the idea of killing rhaenyra. If she really planned on usurping rhaenyra,s throne the first thing anyone would do is to kill rhaenyra. Besides even if she did usurp the throne it would be for her children because rhaenyra will kill them. If rhaenyra can ask for her 10 years old brother to be tortured like less than an hour after he lost an eye She certainly will kill them. It's not like she cares about Alicent,s or her children. Even if she doesn't kill them daemon will Also she sent peace terms to rhaenyra So she won't feel betrayed. The reason I want team green to rule is because they can uphold the kingdom and it will be in peace. They took care of the kingdom while rhaenyra was on dragonstone and Vesris was dying and couldn't do anything and the kingdom was in peace And whit ageon nHe never wanted the throne so he can't stop them from ruling But whit people like daemon Rhaenyra. They are not good rulers though But I agree rhaenyra is the rightful heir though . The reason I don't want her to rule is the fact that she will pass the throne to her bastards which is not right I think both ageon and rhaenyra don't deserve it. They just crown aemond he is better than rhaenyra and ageon

04:44 Thank you for this wonderful analysis, however, I can't agree with this statement. Yes, Aemond is not the best guy here, but if you analyse the show only (and not the books), he's not "violent and hungry for power", at least at season one: the only expression of unprovoked violence we see is killing Luke (which was horrible and wrong but still unintentional), and his "hunger for power" is whining and complaining to Cole about how lazy and unprepared to rule Aegon was (while trying to find the said Aegon). To me Aemond is more impulsive and resentful than cruel or lustful for power (again: at least, at the first season of HOTD). Thank you for your video!

You make a compelling analysis and Alicent is definitely not a one dimensional character, but I still don’t like her. It was never certain that Rhaenyra would kill Alicent’s children just because Alicent had boys. Viserys already named Rhaenyra heir so why would she bother killing Alicent’s children? Alicent made the violence towards her family a self-fulfilling prophecy by relentlessly attacking and provoking Rhaenyra and her family and stoking division. Oh and Sir Cristen is INSUFFERABLE!

Nope! She was never jealous of Rhaenyra as she defended her quite a lot and even demanded Aegon to not accept the council of killing Rhaenrya. 4 of the actors who played Alicent and Rhaenrya know about their characters' past romantic love for one another. If you read any history about succession. There are instances of children of the current wife being murdered for the said eldest child to inherit the throne so her worries are more than valid. Daemon known to murder his wife, leave his teen niece in the brothel with her pants on her ankles and without her hat, and ignore his children will not hesitate to murder Alicent's children. Daemon is the one who orchestrated the murder of Halaena's children who had nothing to do with the battle. The murderers threatened to rape the 6 year old Jaehaera if Halaena couldn't choose to kill which son. Rhaenyra's doom was because of the love of the smallfolk had for Halaena and Alicent.

I really can't stand Alicent or Otto; there is nothing worse than a social climber (Otto) and his lackeys (Alicent, Criston, the Lannisters, etc.). No matter what Rhaenyra did; what she got away with? Rhaenyra is the chosen heir to the throne; chosen by her father, chosen by her blood, and chosen by the rites and rituals of that Aegon I set forth. Aegon, regardless of his legitimacy over Rhaenyra's children? He was a spoiled, rotten, ignorant taint who was the worst choice anyone could ever pick for a king. Regardless of the whys? At his core, he was an inconsiderate, awful person and a drunk to boot! Lol Rhaenyra ran circles around him, in regards to natural poise, empathy, intelligence and bearing. Her only crime was wanting to be loved versus 100% maintaining a loveless marriage. She'd even said to Damon that she and Laenor had tried several times to get pregnant, but he could never complete the deed. And on another side vice-president directly responding to a statement in the video? Alicent did deserve Damon and Rhaenyra's comments, when they'd come back to the Red Keep. Rhaenyra left because she had no choice; regarding the continued speculation about her children, etc. And it was a hard decision; she knew that with Otto returning, she really needed to stay at the Red Keep full time and keep herself relevant...but good mothers place their children first. Alicent and Otto purposefully didn't meet them when they showed up (rude and below their supposed station, behavior-wise). That's why it was SO poignant; Viserys coming into the courtroom to protect and defend his daughter's claim. He knew his son should not rule; he knew all along his daughter's kids were illegitimate because he knew Laenor was gay...and he did not care! He loved his daughter despite all of this; he was a loyal and good father but a terrible king 👑for not resolving all of the infighting and issues, looooong before he began to get seriously sick. !!!

I know this comment is quite late, but I just want to say these videos are incredibly well put together and really well argued. I felt so sorry for Alicent, with people like her father constantly manipulating her, to Viserys and Rhaenyra gaslighting her, to Larys violating her. And all of this put onto her because of a thing she didn't choose: she didn't choose nor want to marry Viserys. Yet people online claim that she betrayed Rhaenyra. Because of something she had no control over. Alicent definitely makes some poor decisions later in her adult life, but as you said, she is at the mercy of co-dependent relationships with people who are doing her more harm than good. And with people constantly manipulating or gaslighting her, it's no wonder she made the decisions she did. I appreciate how, despite the show being primarily team black, it still goes out of it's way to humanize and flesh out characters like Alicent, and you've explained it here incredibly well. Have a good day.

Idk if anyone pointed this out. Originally, I thought the Helena & Jace would have let the tensions die down. BUT, after reading what someone posted or said, I don't remember well. No, ot would have made things worse. Team Black would have used Helena against the Greens. She & her children would have been hostages. Yes, Jace would have never let that happen but he's just a boy still. Despite being heir to his mother who's power lacks stability. He really has no say if, Rhaenyra or most likely Daemon disposed of Helena. Also Helena would have definitely kept her dreams a secret. Since no one on the Blacks would be on her side. They would use her dreams to destroy her family.

Something that I saw someone point out was in the Hall after Aemond loses his eye, Aegon, Aemond and Haelena finally saw what their mother was going on about. At first they thought their mom was just being paranoid and crazy, babbling how Rhaenyra may kill them after she got the throne but now they saw first hand how their sister would turn their backs on them at any given moment with no hesitation even though her brother was permanently damaged. Rhaenyra only cared about the insults about her sons, not the damaged caused.

She cared about those insults because it would kill her children. Alicent is to blame about making her children say those things, children most say what they hear from their parents. And let's not forget Aemond treaten to smash the brothers with the stone, he stoped once, but then tried again Lucerys used the dagger to save his brother. A 11 or 12 yo child is alot stronger than 8 and 6 years old. Yeah Aemond lost his eye, but in this situation one of the brothers or even the girls could have died by being hit with a stone. Alincent keep saying about his lost eye, but she forget the insult is a death sentence for Rhaenyra children and while the dagger is overwelming in children fight so is a huge stone. Even a 10 year old could kill a younger child with it just if you hit a good spot in the head the person will drop dead. It is not even needed if the older child have strenght to hit a right place, around 10 years ago a fight between girls in front of a school happened they were around 12 ou 13 yo, after a punch in the head a girl just went rigid for a moment and droped convulsing a bit and then died. Aemond have much more advantage in a fight against kids much more younger than him. I hava 2 cousins with 1 year age gap almost perect it 1y and one weel exactly. The older one was born small, he almost always was smaller the kids his age, but even still he was bigger than his younger cousin and it is just 1 year. A 4 years age gap is insane to a kid my cousin is 11 now he is more than a head taller than his 7 years oldeself while he still have a child like body he is around the same height as my aunt who have around 1,55 cm if not a bit taller. Aemong with a stone in hand and threaten to smash one of them with it is enough for any of those 4 kids feel life threatened. Of course is wrong use a dagger in a child fight but so is wrong use a stone in it. Both sides were wrong but it is a situation Aemond created by choosing the wrong time to get Vhagar, rile up Laena children who were sad by their mother death, insulting the 2 brothers. kzitem.info/news/bejne/kXqwnHinbqGKo5w&ab_channel=R%26CMedia You can see he start the fight by insulting and he scaleted it by using weapon (stone) than after threatening Luce(it was he insult Jace again who now get the dagger to have a weapon too to fight. Aemond had the chance to stop riling up the fight 2 times, first before start(not insulting the girl), after he grab Luce (before get the stone to threat, because they all stoped fight and were not trying to continue) and maybe after he hit Jace with the stone too, Luce went for the dagger because he saw Aemond threaten his brother life and you can see all children there thought he would smash Jace there. In the end Aemond started it all and in a children fight with weapons he is the one who got the worse injury, but could have been anyone there. Jace could have died by having his head hit with a stone it is just lucky he wasn't.
@RubyAPBT
Жыл бұрын
Another thing is Aemond is the older one there, he should have been the first to not start a fight. He is salty because of the pig thing but that was his older brother ideia. He blamed children younger than him for a thing his older brother started and encouraged. kzitem.info/news/bejne/rqmozId9bZp7lYo&ab_channel=JynxedKoma Aegon was the one insulting him there, Jace was copying him ans Luce was doing what he was told to do and copying the older ones. Aemong should have blame and hated his older brother for this, not his younger cousins but is easier to target younger children than a older one.

I think something that’s frustrating when people analyze the eye scene is that first off, Rhaenyra is committing treason. A bastard cannot inherit before a trueborn child, specifically for the reasons that the show specifically portrays. It destabilizes the government. Rhaenyra’s very actions place the entire realm at risk. Secondly, a lot of show viewers are not book readers, so they don’t know what “sharply questioned” means. The books are full of “sharp questioning”, as it’s a euphemism for torture. In other words, Rhaenyra is both condoning her children teaming up in order to beat and mutilate another child for essentially no reason, then she’s demanding the child, HER BROTHER, be tortured, AFTER her little angels maimed him. The Targaryens are, tbh, the worst. If you’re rooting for either side, you’re kind of an idiot, because one of the major themes in the ASOIAF world is that feudalism is garbage and the Targaryens suck ass. The whole point of the Greens vs the Blacks is that it was a huge waste of time that got a bunch of people killed and everyone involved was a terrible person who did awful things bc they thought they should have an ugly chair.
@misskate3815

@@mercuriology45 Rhaenyra’s claim would not survive the revelation that she knowingly conspired to place bastards born of adultery on both the iron throne and in her In-laws seat. It’s POSSIBLE that if she were to admit to the adultery, she and the kids would simply be imprisoned, but doubtful. Because she selfishly did not have her children within wedlock, or, at LEAST, with a guy who looked like Laenor, she endangered the succession, her own life, her kids, and the entire country. This isn’t the modern day. If the Greens had succeeded persuading Viserys to acknowledge the obvious truth, then Rhaenyra would have been done, her kids either dead or permanently enslaved in the Watch, faith, or citadel. But however her children would be in danger and many ppl throughout the realm wouldn’t exactly be happy. @@mercuriology45that’s not how it works. 🤦🏻♀️. The “Widow’s Law” exists to provide support to a widow in the case of her husband’s death. It does not allow her to push her illegitimate children ahead of the rightful heirs. And as unfair as it might be, bastards in Westeros, even royal bastards, do not have a claim before legitimate heirs. Viserys pressing his daughter’s claim is one thing. Him doing so after she’s proven she’ll be a crappy queen is his prerogative, esp given the alternative is Aegon. Him pressing the claims of her bastards is a danger to the stability of the governing body and sets a precedent endangering the lives and lineages of every house in Westeros. When your government’s legitimacy derives from specific bloodlines, birthright MATTERS. This would allow any lord who just… felt like it to push his bastards ahead of his heirs, which would damage multiple facets of their society. The entire ASOIAF series is a specific critique of this ideology and ALSO of how entitled people indoctrinated into a toxic theory of exceptionalism don’t govern well, especially if they have living WMDs. That’s why Danaerys dies at the end of Game of Thrones, and also why the Lords in the North press to set Jon aside and crown Sansa. It’s a symbol of the death of targaryen tyranny and of the understanding that Westeros will begin to move away from a feudal society to a more equitable one where leaders will be chosen based on their qualifications, not because mommy and daddy said they could have the fancy chair.

She is flawed, she seemed lost for a long time and just as she eventually finds her place in all this, everything goes awry... She is one of my favourite characters because she does try her best but she is overwhelmed by the situation. I think a lot of people judge her unfairly and fail to understand her, and your videos are also refreshing because of that :-) Given the slight changes that the writers have made compared with the books, I'm very excited to see how she will react to the latter events of season one...where she will go from there. Also (and I promise I'll stop right there ^^), it seems we have the same favourite scene (yeah, probably a lot of people do, but let's face it, it's an incredible one.) Great video! One small note regarding viserys's dying wish, alicent (aside from it easing her moral dilemma to believe viserys wanted aegon on the throne) likely thought back to their conversation in episode 3, where viserys told her about his dream of his son sitting the throne with aegon's crown (Which will now happen, but not in the way anyone expected lmao). So that makes her misinterpretation slightly more forgivable. Slightly. There's still enough off about what he said while dying for her to question what he was referring to, but i thought it was interesting and worth mentioning:)

@@HK-gm8pe💯💯 I be saying these similar things to other people who blindly accept and see the things that they want in the show. The inconsistencies are there if people are paying attention. In ep.09 Alicent could've at least referenced back to that moment in ep.03 at the great fire (when Viserys was drunk and regretful) and then tell Otto that she"interpreted" Vis' last words as Aegon should ascend and that "you are the one" based at that moment in ep.03. They want us to sympathize with her, which would be okay, if there is enough evidence to suggest that she moves pieces on the board based on her own will instead of Otto's goals or Larys' schemes.

I heavily disagree with one point. Marrying Jayce to his aunt would not prevent the war or fix anything. The problem is Aegon is the rightful king by law. The king doesn't want to change the law, he just wants to ignore it like the issue doesn't exist. If Jayce married Helena that would force Helena into the position of hostage. Additionally because Jayce is a bastard he has no rights to any inheritance meaning socially speaking Helena (a princess) would be throwing away her future in order to become a hostage. Of course her mother says no.

Alicent is a better written Sansa in many ways, she really did the best she could with what life gave her. She did everything that her father and the kingdom expected of her unlike Rhaenyra that didn't sacrifice anything to be what she had to be, did uphold a higher standard which she had to do cause she was suppose to be the future queen after her father. Alicent was a victim that responded to her trauma and robbed chilhood in the best way possible, she followed tradition and yes she did do somethings that were awful and she made mistakes and she hates rhaenyra for a lot but she also loves her, and she just wanted what rhaenyra had/has freedom to do everything she wanted but she could never cause unlike rhaenyra, alicent does not have a father that truly loves her and respects her and lets her choose things, a father that never used her as a piece on a board, a father that defented her till his last breath, alicent had a hard life as a kid, she never had a choice over her own life and she was utterly and completly alone. I love Rhaenyra, but Alicent is not the villain she is just the victim of a game that she never wanted to be a part of, but after she became part of it she needed to play or she could lose everything and i know that she does not want that tbh she has played the game very well.
@k.w.8332

@luruiz Saying Alicent is a better written Sansa is a stretch. Given the fact that Alicent ages like 14yrs in one season because/and is portrayed by two different actresses vs. Sansa having 8 seasons to develop as a character. Plus both don't have the same function and serve different roles in the show.

Agree completely except Rhaenyra also made sacrifices, she didn't marry for love and had to have children when se didn't want to, that's a big sacrifice to make when you saw your mother die of being a birthing machine
@handonstark
Жыл бұрын
@@jennyyyy189 at that time it wasn’t a sacrifice for women to do that and Rhaenyra knew it was her duty, so that her claimed to the throne had more power and a son a legitimate son would’ve have her that, she knew that even her mother told her that she needed to fulfil her duty to the kingdom, Rhaenyra wasn’t going into it blindly, she grew up like all ladies in the kingdom knowing that a good and strong marriage will give her some sort of power and in her position she had to even more than others, she isn’t just some servant girl she was the future of the realm and now she is the queen by birthright but she never showed to anyone around her that she actually wanted to be the queen she did say it but never did what was necessary, she had affairs and children that weren’t valaryons and everyone knows this and yes the kids aren’t guilty but having bastard children wasn’t the right thing for her especially being the heir to the throne, she had freedom in the marriage that no other lady in the kingdom would’ve had, if alicent would’ve done the same the consequences she could’ve suffer… but Rhaenyra didn’t suffer any consequences at the moment until her father died cause the hightowers and everyone that was in king’s landing knew that Rhaenyra’ children are bastards, again everything needs to be seen according to the time and what she had as law not as what we modern society are or have. Alicent did everything, she sacrifice her live, her childhood and was mistreated, abused and manipulated all her life and she did everything she could to be the standard, what everyone excepted from her but Rhaenyra didn’t do that and no one ever did anything bad to her until she was an adult.
@jennyyyy189
Жыл бұрын
@@handonstark it WAS a sacrifice for Rheanyra that's the point, it was expected of her and she did it because she wanted to do her duty to the realm. It doesn't matter that women just did that back then, a sacrifice is something personal. She could have also gone off with Cole and been like yo bye, but she didn't, and not because of power but because her father told her about the prophecy. And people did do stuff to her, her uncle groomed her, her father emotionally neglected her, her best friend betrayed her, and she was treated with disgusting misogyny which is abuse. While Alicent also suffered greatly. Both were the victims in the first few episodes.

I kind of reject the premise of the question, because it assumes someone that "victim" and "villain" are mutually exclusive roles and assumes the false concept that victims are inherently good by virtue of their victimhood. Victims can absolutely become victims, and villains can absolutely be victimized. I definitely think Alicemt falls into both camps to varying degrees at different points in time. She never asked to be put in the situation she's in, and she's merely playing the hand she's been dealt, but there are also points where she's also negatively handled her repressed feelings by doing bad and rather villainous things (although not exclusively negative things, she does do some good things as well). I love how complex (most of) these characters are.

It's strange because, when I originally saw the series I was UBER team black, then Green, now neither. Ultimately I criticize Viserys and Rhaenyra HEAVILY, they deserve the utmost tough criticism because they are poised to be the true heirs. Of course everyone is human and will have flaws however, a person who is to be the leader should be put at the highest of standards. My heart broke for Alicent when Aemond was maimed, even though Aemond was a few years older, Jace was not far in age from him also three other kids were ganging up on him and did initiate the fight (with a weapon mind you). The fact that Rhaenyra as a mother could not empathize with Alicent or at least disciplining her children to offer even the most minor of apologies to Aemond was shocking. I knew she would make a terrible Queen. That being said Alicent was in no place to demand blood, and shouldve chastised Aemond for fighting with his siblings as well.

6:44 this is actually so misunderstood, Rhaenerya isn't offering up an olive branch she is threatening Heleana with a hostage situation. If Rhaernerya and blacks have Heleana, the greens can't fight back, she is basically being put in the same place as Sansa. Best case Rhaenerya strong arms a peace, worst case scenario Alicent has to choose between the lives of her children as Aegon, Aemond and Daeron are killed for the threat they pose to her children, or Heleana is killed because the high Lords back Aegon. It is not a happy peace and is even more a slap in the face because Jace and Beala were engaged since birth, meaning Rhaenerya was not being genuine, despite what the show makes it out to seem like...

Much like Cersei wants to hate Tyrion for killing Tywin (despite hating Tywin herself), she uses it as an excuse to hate on Tyrion even more. I feel like Alicent only gets as angry as she does because it was done by Rhaeneyra's son. It gives her a great excuse to hate the Blacks even more. 23:04 Totally disagree with the criticism here. Alicent pushed Rhaenyra away and capitalised on the situation. That was clearly a fair accusation. 25:03 "...she does everything she can to place Aegon on the throne." Except raise him apparently 🤣 26:45 Alicent wasn't showing uncertainty, she was pretending because Viserys (dumbass that he is) thought telling people to kiss and make up would solve everything. If she had any doubts, they were gone by this point and she was fully invested. 28:22 Alicent heard what she wanted to hear. Viserys was talking about a Song of Ice and Fire and what Aegon saw in the North. Her son never went to the North. What dream did her son have that Viserys would ask her "Don't you remember?" And he literally says "It is you." She willingly misinterpreted his words, either that or she thought he was rambling but somehow took his words seriously. Nah, THIS is not something we can excuse Alicent for. Like you said, "...it would help ease her moral dilemma", She was just looking for an ecuse and likely would have pushed for Aegon's ascension anyway. Final Thoughts: Alicent is not a compelling opponet. She seems to bumble into one blunder after the next and dig holes for herself. All the achievements of the Greens are more a result of the people around her rather than her own doing. She is definitely incompetent, and THAT is the reason why Otto hid his schemes from her.

I like Helaena Targaryen, as someone who has both asd & adhd, I can clearly see she's not just autistic, but she seems to be a dragon dreamer(just like the aegon the conqueror was) She's probably more useful than her husband *side note:glad u caught this, when she says "he must be sharply questioned" she quite literally means she wants her own nephew TORTURED over an insult, or in her eyes "treason" this makes rhaenyra more unfit to rule, idc how "controversial this is, to me, he's a kid, and so are rhaenyra's sons, rhaenyra should have handled the situation better instead of "it was self defense, they attack cause they got insulted"*

Everyone victimizes Allison more than Rhaenyra because Rhaenyra got to experience pleasure and Allison didn't let's call it what it is. Both girls were subjected to the wills of men there entire lives would be decised by men. Difference between both Ladies as their fathers. One father sought to use his daughter as a pain and the other father actually loved his daughter and wanted her to be happy unsuccessful. When she called rhaenyra from her bed right after she had given birth everybody shouldn't have known from that moment on that she was the villain because if you understand childbirth at all you would understand that she isn't even supposed to be able to move out of her bed and she is bleeding there's a reason why they showed it the way that they showed it. They wanted to show the heartlessness that Allison really had in her and how she was playing it off as kindness. What essential reason did Alison have to hate Rhaenyra for sleeping with sir Kristen other than the fact that she's so f****** gullible that she really thought that everybody out here is actually playing their roles and doing their jobs correctly she's stupid is what she was. And when she finally start to get some type of understanding of the world this is what she decided to do with her mind
