I’ve been struggling with intrusive thoughts. I had an intrusive thoughts of that which the Pharisees said… I was going through doubt at the time and Evan considered it for a few seconds. Then all of the sudden I remembered the Bible say “satan cannot cast out satan.” I still have bad intrusive thoughts like that some times… I’m scared I committed it. I’ve repented then felt better but it still haunts me…

This is a little bit of rebuke but also some encouragement. Jesus never ANYONE who thinks blasphemous thoughts has committed an unforgivable sin. It is those who come out and speak it. Just like your salvation. It was not just because you believed it is because you confessed with your mouth. Thee is power in words, our words Gods word. God spoke everything into being. We are also warned to control our tongue, it is a small rudder that steers a big ship. Though I am not God and I do not have the power to judge in these matters, I would say that no where does thinking blasphemies is unforgivable. So listen to the word on your bible app in your car, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. And love people because love covers a multitude of sin. Make sure you remain in him and his words remain in you. It is by the Spirit we put to death the deeds of the flesh and it is the Spirit and Jesus who cleans us from all unrighteousness. Avoid sin as much as possible and don't go to places you could be tempted for you to sin.

@@RichrdmI suffer from religious OCD. I go to therapy for it. I was telling my therapist about one of my intrusive thoughts. I said one of them out loud. I said it out loud to say that it is a lie and that I don’t believe in it. I said “my mind was telling me blankly blank blank was actually happening, but it wasn’t. My mind was tricking me into believing I believed this but I don’t because I believe it was through the Holy Spirit that Jesus performed the miracles and I’ll gladly tell anyone that.” I am so scared I committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit when I said my mind was telling me (blank) was actually happening but it wasn’t. Hey brother can i please ask you something? I was worried beacouse i thought i might have blasphemed and i just wanted assurance. So i discussed with my friends what blasphemy is (Attributing the spirits work with the devil) and meanwhile i made a few examples of what would need to be said without realizing i was actually saying the blasphemy in that moment. I just wanted th to understand my fear and what i was alking about. ---Still basically saying the blasphemy multiple times. Do you think i did the sin? I obviously didnt mean what i said. I feel so helpless and i think i fell for the devils trap. And in the bible stands: "Whoever speaks against the holy spirit". I dont know if the context its spoken in is important but i spoke against it. I already repented but feel like its too late. Please help me❤️🙏

Now years later I came to the Lord and I got reminded on what I did and have been thinking am I saved is there still hope? I repented and CRIED for forgiveness. How do I know I’m saved? I’m scared to serve God and then once I get to heaven he’ll say “depart from me” 🥲 I wanted to bring souls to him and to do mighty works for him and was excited until I got reminded of this thing I did 🥲 was this the unforgivable sin?

hey, I wanted to say I've committed the unforgivable sin. I lead a couple years of my life against God. I was raised in the church and I wanted something else because I was angry at God because I just wanted something else, so I turned to paganism. I made the Holy Ghost specifically the but of a joke, and then later had some issues with mental health that lead to a psychosis where I called the holy spirit a heretic and dreamed of killing him for God because I felt he didn't want him there anymore and as I was feeling the anger and conviction of God, I repeatedly called him an asshole because when I did it gave me a moment of peace in my head that I hadn't had in a long time, so I kept doing it. fast forward to now God still wants me in his light to give me peace and show his love because I turned back to him, and he says he won't turn anyone away, I feel his love. but the Holy Spirit convicts me day and night of doing this and there is no release from the knowledge I did this. I just wanted to share this with you because God does still want you with him. if you turn back, and you can after you've committed this, through the Holy Spirits conviction, you can still have a life with God. But that sin ends your hope for salvation because you can't forget doing it. I know the conviction is different than my conscious because I want to turn to God as the holy spirit stirs me, but doesn't let me forget it. I wanted to help someone remember you may have committed this sin but God still loves you. though you can repent and never do it again you're still guilty of it and he won't let you shake that feeling of regret because it can't be forgiven. I hope this helps someone. God bless

All wrong. Why the Bible does not immediately make clear what this Unforgivable Sin is the fault of the reader... the mystery becomes clear in the context as to what this sin is all about. In the phrase, "whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost..." Mt.12:32, is told us in the same context as to what this sin entails in v.34. This answer's other such Unpardonable Sins such as idol worship, Deu.29:20 context, and falling away from exposure to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as in Heb.6:4-8 and Eph.2:1-3, 1Jn.5:16-21 also, for example. When in 1John God declares, "The whole world lieth in wickedness," the word "wickedness" means "sexual embrace" with Satanically inspired fleshly commitment, permanently, unless Christ interviews and redeems the sinner. That's why He says in Eph.2:12 what He says. So then, since the Holy Spirit is one and the same Living God as is the Father and the Son, it is correct to conclude the person so blaspheming by words out of his mouth is guilty of all sins he's ever committed and is ripe for Judgment Day being he is non-elect, as in Eph.2:12, speaking out of what fills his heart, See Mt.12:35. Because v.30 in this context of the so called Unpardonable Sin, Christ explains it all..."He who is not with Me is against Me." This is why the dreaded chapter so well avoided by fake preachers preaching to fake Christians is never spoken on. Neither do they ever correctly speak on the Unpardonable Sin because of Isa.8:20 KJV. It must be remembered in order to understand this so called "Unpardonable Sin ( very much incorrectly taught as such by this out of context phrase ) that the Holy Spirit is given to the whole world as *the* Witness of the Gospel, Jn.16:7-14, therefore the Holy Spirit is spoken of as the Person blaspheming is directed against though there is One God indivisible... The Holy Spirit is spoken of by Christ as the Administrator of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so speaking blasphemy against Christ Jesus is aimed directly at him, the Holy Spirit being He convicts us of sin as told us there in Jn.16.. Repent then and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will not be troubled as is the world by wondering if you have committed the Unpardonable Sin, 1Jn.1:7.

I think you are quite wrong. While I agree that the Lord our God is one God. We are made in his image though we do not look act or think like he does. We have a soul or intellect, a body or flesh, and a spirit. Just like God. God is the intellect, Jesus is the flesh, and the Spirit is well the spirit. Except that my flesh is has a sinful nature unlike Jesus My flesh wants the cookie, my intellect says don't eat the cookie it will make you fat, the spirit says fast and pray and listen to the Lord. Paul says it best that we go to war with our flesh. If I do not do what I want to do and keep doing what I don't want to do I agree it is not me doing it buy my flesh. So we like God have 3 things going on at the same time but we are still one. Jesus made a distinction that all sins will be forgiven man but speaking against the Spirit part of him would not be forgive. All blasphemy against God and Jesus will be forgive, but not against the Holy Spirit. Read my other post here on how people commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Also this is belief of mine is not in the bible so take it with a grain of salt. Receive the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hand so that you speak in tongues and prophesy. Then the Holy Spirit will lead you to all truth and you won't need people on the internet to tell you what the word means.

@@oldmanjoe6808 I could be wrong, but Jesus isn't. Jesus separates out the Holy Spirit and says you cannot blaspheme him, but his is Father God and the Holy Spirit. The reason your wrong, because I did read your nonsense post now that I had some time. Jesus word takes out your first point. You say idol worship is the unforgivable sin. LOL, read the word, Jesus never said that. Blasphemy or speaking against Jesus will be forgive. So will idol worship unless you are saying that Jesus blood cannot cover that sin. It can to your disbelief. You said speaking against Christ is blasphemy, which he said could be forgive. That destroys your own made up nonsense. In face everything you said in your post is made up and is speaking against Jesus who make it clear what is forgivable and what is not, and you try to cloud, john1 7 says he will clean us of all unrighteousness. Except the unforgivable sin. Go argue that point with Jesus, he is the AUTHOR and Finisher of our faith, I believe what he said over your made up stuff from the human made up stuff bible.

QUESTION : What is the unforgivable sin? ANSWER : Would you believe it’s BLASPHEMY? Insulting the invisible guy in the sky or making jokes about him, apparently you can commit the most heinous crimes against humanity including mass murder, rape, incest and theft but if you convince God that you’re genuinely sorry and promise him that you’ve embraced his doctrine you’ll be forgiven and permitted to live in bliss in his magical fairyland after your death here on Earth. But if you commit the sin of blasphemy you’ll spend eternity being burnt and tortured in Hell regardless of how good and altruistic you have been during your life or how sorry you are to have blasphemed against him at different points of your life, you’ll never be forgiven. Doesn’t this sound a little strange to you that this ego driven God is so obsessed about himself and his petty feelings? God is sorely in need of a thorough psychiatric assessment and he should be told to get his priorities in order.

What you said is not true. No where does is say, if you worry about committing the sin, you have not committed the sin. I will ask you the same question. Where in the bible does it say that? That you would not care? I believe that verse is found in the bible of made up stuff. He said, ANYONE. Here is an a today example. You are a believer, you read the bible, you have read the book of Acts and know what the Holy Spirit does. You hear some believers in a church that you detest, you disparage them because they are evil evangelicals that are speaking in tongues or prophesying, and you say those people they are babbling and them speaking in tongues of the devil or some other spirit. You have committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit just as the pharisees did. You are speaking against the Holy Spirit. The people who I have heard say this type of thing claim to be Christians and believe they are going to heaven and believe they have the truth. They speak against the Holy Spirit saying he is not for today and he no longer gives gifts.

I’m honestly not sure whether you can actually claim 100% that someone has truly committed that. The Bible says that whoever believes in Jesus will be saved, whoever comes to Him He will never drive away, etc. The Bible is full of such promises and if it was just that easy I believe they would constantly add exceptions. Like “whoever believes in Jesus will be saved except those who committed blasphemy”. Idk I’m struggling in that area so bad because of ocd and thoughts, I’m very afraid but I just think sometimes that this exception would be added everywhere or otherwise the promises are kind of not promises.
