Yes, exactly. It's incredible that some survivors saw it break in half whilst others thought it sank in 1 piece. It really depended on where you was at the time of the sinking. The darkness, distance and the individual all played a part in their testimony.

We should let it rest. It will be gone in the next decades cause bacteria eats it, if there was coral, like on the Britannic, it would not be eaten. The Britannic has sank for 107 years and it looks that it will be gone in the next hundred years, I've studied the wrecks of the Titanic, Britannic, The Bismarck and more. My condolences go for these 1,500 who perished from the captain who didnt listen to iceberg warnings. It's been 111 years since it sank. If we got a plan when we first discovered it in 1985, maybe we couldve raised it as it wouldve been 73 years sank, and most things were not collapsed.

@@dr.manthanos7781 Actually, those were projects that raised pieces of it (such as a massive piece of the hull and its whistle). Other projects sought to build a new Titanic, but failed. The most recent attempts were the Romandisea Titanic and Clive Palmer's Titanic. Raising Titanic is not feasible from both economic and physical standpoints. It's just too fragile to move. However, while bringing up Titanic is improbable, the wreck of Britannic rests at human diving depth in the Aegean Sea and could possibly be raised with great difficulty due to its damaged bow. Note that nobody died inside the ship. The deaths that occurred were due to a pair of lifeboats being sucked into the ship's propellors. The wreck itself is not a tomb.

Since so many people think it actually can and should be raised: 1) As you can’t bring air (like ping pong balls) that deep, you need to use buoyant liquid like oil. That would require a mass heavier than the ship to pull it down and be left behind, and a rupture would result in the largest oil spill in history. 2) It wouldn’t work anyway. Even good as new, it would just tear the top off. Structures are made to be held from under their floors, not the inside of their roofs or point along their walls. 3) It is a grave site. More than half of the ship’s passengers didn’t even get above deck and sank to the ocean floor with Titanic. What remains of their clothes still mark where they last laid.

In raise titanic the model was made before her wreck was found and everyone claimed that the ship had sent down in one piece therefore they thought the ship was raiseable until they found her broken in half and severely damaged and if we tried what they did in the movie it would probably fall apart.

The film was made in 1980, 5 years before they found the wreck. At the time, the official conclusion was it went down in 1 piece. There were eye witness accounts that said it snapped in 2, but that didn’t service the story of the book or the film, so naturally they ignored it.

The human person looks like a giant because the Titanic wreck model is so small, but our senses say it's to its 1:1 scale, but it's not. Therefore, the person looks like a giant humongous person monstrosity of a thing (Source: The Rock's Hair What kind of explanation was that also? idk, but it was an explanation. 😅)

I think that, even if we theoretically could, we shouldn’t raise the titanic. It’s hundreds of people graves and raising it will be like tampering with a grave site. Even Ava Heart (a survivor and one of the last surviving survivors of the titanic) said that she didn’t want the titanic to be raised as she thought of it as her fathers grave.

There are nobody, in the deep ocean or not, it's not possible to conserve any rest of dead organic materia in the sea, simply. If the ship were emerged, the soul of that people who died long time ago will be broken or what? Hahaha. Better don't remove, no? 😂 The fascinating beliefs of the humans (not all). The memories and souls of that people are only in the mind of their families, and they're converting in past and not meeted "family" or are only old ancestors. At least it is permitied to recover artifacts and objects of that people for remember them actually, to bring us their story and not forgot never.

Raising the titanic is like rebuilding the Twin Towers. We can't bring back stuff because it's already history. Rather, we should just learn from it and move on. So Titanic should be put in the past.

what would be cool is if they could set up a continuous diamond cable saw to cut the bow section off and raise it as a memorial, it’ll never happen of course but that’s probably the strongest part of the wreck.
