Be a miracle.
This past Friday, Lakewood Leadership Program students within the Freedom Ministry took part in what we called Student Takeover. They ran the service and conducted a mental health panel.
Glenn Bone is currently a student in the program but has a long history in ministry. He has served as a pastor and church planter with Rick Warren in California and Willowcreek Church in Chicago.
It wasn't his first Freedom message and people love his sense of humor. He is a great story teller and authentic teacher sharing what he calls the 3 Cs.
Catch it. Bring any thought under captivity
Compare with the word of God
Change it. If it doesn’t line up change the thought
Mental Health Challenge. Don’t go outside of today. Jesus said don't worry about tomorrow. Take it a day at a time. You have enough faith to get through today.
Broken Crayons Still Color
He wore a shirt that says, Broken Crayons Still Color and shared a powerful story that even though we may be broken. Even though you've gone through some things, like the crayons, you didn't lose your value. You are still useful. You still color.
