Good detail on how to set it up. Will help lots of people. You really need to anchor that bench to the wall.

Thanks for the great video! I'm thinking of upgrading to this press from my classic turret. I don't usually prime on press but looks like this set up Is better than the 4 hole turret .

I had never seen a camera shot from behind. I just see a hand drop a bullet on a case and wondered how much room is back there. I want to not like this press. But I do. It is simple. I like that you visually verify a " missing primer ". It is a step up from a Turret but not a progressive high output press. This is the attraction to the Dillon 550 or SQDB over a 6/750. Lee designed a niche press. It was nice how you demonstrated that you can do a caliber conversion without setting up the case feeder for a small batch run. That showed the versatility of the press. That is really a good way to demonstrate the intended use of the design. Nice video !

Very, VERY useful video. I'm just about to start reloading .38spl on my Lee 4000 pro having been reloading .44mag and .44spl for a while now. Thanks :)

great video, Buddy! I have that press, and really should use it more. I need to do a video with it loading .45 ACP.

Did you have any problems with case edge getting crushed? When I was loading 9mm, I had 5 cases get crushed out of 50. With all 4 stations working you lose any sensitivity and can't get a good feel of a problem. 1 case was damaged at station 1. The other 4 were damaged at station 2. Have any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?

i have nearly the same calibers and setop as you do, enjoyed your video today. i like lee's previous priming setup better. this new one drops primers way too often and i can't see/feel where i am at on the primer arm. i would try to use my older round style instead, but actually wore out the small primer dispensing mechanism. last week went back to old old method of using lee's hand primer off-press doing hundred round batches of 9mm at a time. hadn't done that in years! would just about go back to my turret press, but plastic indexing guts are about shot and those are my second set of indexing parts anyway! question for you though....are the lee powder through dies the same for 38/357 and 9mm? i have always switched them out, but would simplify caliber switch on my newer lee auto drum powder measure since you have to take it apart to put more powder in and last time it spilled all over the press trying to refil it. i also try to use same powder and charge for 9mm and 38. thanks again!!

I was hoping for more views of the actual adjustments that you are making, but most of those were off-camera. Otherwise a good video.

So you need a different set of bushings each time you change calibers?
