Old Nollywood movies were to educate and help us correct our wrongs, but the today's Nollywood is to entertain with nothing to learn from it. Old actors were impeccable. When you watch most of them, they leave you with tears and nostalgia..

So Authentic even the soundtrack from the beginning is far better than some musics of our time, I’m a Ghanaian who loves Nigerian movie and Nigerians in general, Nigeria movies have evolved, especially those on Netflix, I wish they produce our old movies again, with all the equipments they have now they can, rather trying to copy the western movies which is mostly fictions. 🇬🇭❤️🇳🇬✊🏻

Nollywood movies is not dead. Infact it's improved in terms of visual and casting. Yes we still go to old movies but the reason we fancy old movies is because it gives us old memories and even if the movie is not sweet, a part of your brain will assume it's sweet. That's why old music still hit till now regardless of how good new school artists are. Whatever that gives you memories of your olden days will always hit different. I hope you understand better.

To those saying nollywood is dead, that’s not entirely true. There are still some present nollywood movies that makes sense and has morals... for example look at ‘breath of life’, ‘momiwa’, ‘sista’, and many more like them. Please give them their roses and stop condemning nollywood as a whole just because of some bad movies.
