Merci Anton et Sinan. J'y ai passé plusieurs jours en octobre. La ville est magnifique. Malheureusement, je ne fais pas la visite du château, alors, merci d'y aller pour moi.

:) Hello guys! Slightly later but its ok. That was a really nice and kind of different vibe. I like it a lot. Port towns...they just have something about them. Different charisma somehow. From the beginning I thought its way too grey and plain, but few minutes later I ve changed my mind. When the sun hits, things looks better. In general, the North is more grey, right? In terms of colours. Like Paris is also not very colorful, but its compensating with beauty! However, what an interesting place. Apparently no tourists but also not many people on the streets until you reached that market which looked quite vibrant and lively. (Did you buy something appart from food? )Why you don't want to breath the chicken smell btw? Are you vegetarian? I really liked the church. The 800 years old one. Indeed beautiful and detailed! Amazing work. And also agree with you Anton. It would be very helpful to put some attention to it regarding restoration. Being near water, listening the sea and in general the sound of nature is awesome. Therapeutic-absolutely. Sinan, how are you? We have a big problem my dear. The portions! My God,.....its not fair. Surviving on fries its a challenge by its own, even though perhaps that's not exactly the case in France,as they say their fries are the best! Do you agree? Too much carbs though. I don't blame you. I like fries too. Anton,....its beautiful. Ok,I stop. Its beautiful...😄 well, the cure was there with the cold water 😬...just kidding. That area La Pollet was interesting. I like it a lot. A special corner of the town. And the old bridge also. I enjoy old school stuff. And working. Fantastic. As for the last church...what can we say. You said it- it hits you. But let's finish with a smile,it was a great trip guys. Normandie looks like an interesting region. Thank you for taking us with you! Truly enjoyed the journey.💫👍🤍

Salut! Glad you enjoyed this trip with us! About the fries, we normally do not eat them in our region, but whenever we go North, we have to have the ones sold at the beach. They are very special over there. No kidding. As for the chicken episode, we are both vegetarian, hence the reaction to the smell. 😄 We love every region we have visited so far, but Normandie is a serious contender to be our favourite. It truly is beautiful in every sense of the word.

@@AntonandSinan :) I see. Thanks for the info. They looked great and I am sure taste was awesome. Well,I hope you ll plan and have the posibility to show us more of Normandie then. Personally I'd love that, because I don't know much about it apart from location. And few more little things as general knowledge. But really not a lot. :)

One more time when I wish the presenter/s could travel back in time to the appropriate area of history, I'm interested in 1900-1950. However, nice goin m8s, stay vertical Eh!

Same, we think the beach must've looked incredible before the world wars with the casino and the baths.

I love Dieppe, I go there all the time, for a walk or sometimes just to have lunch in the harbour. It's also where I take the Transmanche to England. Unfortunately, as you may have noticed, many of the historic buildings are not in good condition, especially the churches. The current mayor and the previous mayor are Communists, and heritage has never really been a passion for them. I see you've been to the old Pollet district. It's a place full of mystery..... kzitem.info/news/bejne/s6p5x22pr6V6in4si=4dVQPTY9OT7yk-Oa

We loved our visit to Dieppe, it's got such a wonderful vibe. We noticed that Église Saint-Jacques had some parts under restorations, but overall state of it looks like it needs to be restored more. Stéphane Bern has it listed on his Fondation du Patrimoine ( www.fondation-patrimoine.org/les-projets/eglise-saint-jacques-de-dieppe ), but it's obviously not enough and it is such a beautiful church.

Yes, there are many places along the northern coast of France that had some heavy and dark moments in history.
