I love how u gave our Aussie music scene a go & have honestly become a huge fan of our musical talent. We are extremely lucky & the majority never made it internationally but our music is truly & uniquely Strayan, that's why they never made it, the rest of the world just didn't understand us & still don't but we are so lucky to be brought up on our music.

So true. Most other places in the world you have to fit into a particular category- either your pop or country or R&B and if you don't pick a lane they don't know what to do. Our Aussie artists just are. They're a unique blend of so many influences and we're all just ok with it and embrace it for what they're giving us

@@ThatSingerReactions Back 30/40/50yr ago Straya was still a country that was little known to the world. We were even looked at as being backward bush wackers that still had no electricity & we lived in grass huts or tin sheds, i dunno mate, but we weren't taken seriously, we weren't known to be a country of music & we are known to be a sporting country, which is still true today. Mate, the 70's & 80's were huge decades of Aussie music & a reason maybe our artists weren't taking seriously was because the Aussie bands were hugely patriotic & sang alot about our country & way of life. Great Southern Land by Icehouse is for me is the quit essential song about our country & i mean we are also known as the Great Southern Land & when the song starts it actually gives me goosebumps. Another Aussie group that u might be interested in looking at are The Black Sorrows, i think their music, songs & the Bull sisters vocals are brilliant & I'm sure once u heard the sisters sing u would be amazed. So much respect for u mate, Ta so much for giving our little big country ago.
