There are several sources from which each information was taken for crystallite you can cite the book BD culity or even my paper. Grain and particle are jss definitions so jss use them subtly at the right place. you need not add citation for this.

Thanks for the video. I wish to determine d spacing of plane 001 that is d001 plane from my XRD plot. How to identify which peak corresponds to this 001 plane so that we can use bragg's law to find d-spacing?

the video is very helpful sir but I have a question, why does the small crystal size give a large material surface area?
@AllLabExperiments

Jss solve a numerical... If the volume of a sphere is V and surface area is A. What if i make two spheres of volume V/2 each then what will be the effect on its total area... You will automatically get your answer...

Sir can u tell me how pl spectosocpy is used for the characterisation of nanomaterial/nanosturucture /nanoparticle?????!
@AllLabExperiments
3 жыл бұрын
Some pl expert may guide you better. As far as i know, pl spectra changes with the change in the number of defects in the sample. And broad lumini. Curves are observed for delocalized defect centers.

What happened when crystallite size increases or decreases? Will Material quality be improved?
@AllLabExperiments
3 жыл бұрын
As the crystal size decreases in metals. It becomes brittle and hard. In ceramics different properties change with crystal size.

Sir, when the crystal size decreases, it create more boundaries that hinder movement of edge dislocation which decrease plastical deformation so its ductility decreases, therefore, somewhat increases the brittlenes. Whose hardness indicates its resistance to localized plastic deformation so it's also affected by hindering edge dislocation movement that also make it be harder. Is it correct?
