@@shirohei i mean the Korean ones all express a positive term and so are more tame/docile. Meanwhile Japan and China start calling you bad when you hit the 59 marks point. I'm not sure what the passing mark is in East Asian countries but from the looks of it China and Japan treat the 60% mark as a fail grade? But, this is just me speculating. (Hopefully YT can translate this comment cause i dont speak Chinese and wont be able to repond to you using it).

台灣打成績/考績常用:「優、甲、乙、丙、丁、戊」;但在水準評比方面,台灣用的方式有多種,例如:「優、佳/很好、好/可/普、不佳/不好、劣/差 等,不一而足。 The commonly used for grading in Taiwan are "優、甲、乙、丙、丁、戊 (Excellent, A, B, C, D, E) " ; but for evaluating levels, Taiwan uses a variety of methods suchlike "優、佳/很好、好/可/普、不佳/不好、劣/差 (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, Bad) "
